Another bottle I brought home from my trip to NYC
A: Poured a yellow/light gold color. Little head formed at all, but carbonation was visible in that tiny bubbles lingered for a few minutes.
S: Very light and faint wheat and hay aromas. Slightly noticable orange peel and citrus notes.
T: Citrus/orange comes through much more in flavor than it does in smell. A bit of sage/ginger is noted as well. Not a usual saison feel.
M: Great on the palate. Rich in flavors, with a crisp finish.
D: Deliciously drinkable. I don't this this would be a favorite beer of mine, but if I could snag one on tap this would definitely go down easy on a summer day. A nice refreshing treat on this hot night. I would love to pair this with a white fish or even a salad with a citrus vinaigrette.

2014 release - 750ml bottle split two ways
Notes from 06/22/2014
A: Golden straw blonde body with a hazy yellowish look to it. Effervescent with some thick creamy white suds forming on top. Good retention and a bit of sudsy stick left clinging to the glass.
S: Tart and lemony but not pungently so. Good amount of Brett there. Some soft graininess with dry grass is rounded out by a peppery spice and earthiness. Liking the nose a lot with the Brett nice and healthy.
T: There is really not much to the base of this beer and the Brett is not as vibrant in flavor. I do get some fresh grains, coriander, green pear, grass, white wine and tart lemon curds. Dry and peppery towards the finish with earthy minerals and some influencing Brett. Not a particular favorite of the style but tasty and very refreshing on a hot Summer’s day.
M: The body is super light and frothy at first with a light puckering dryness to it. Finishes a touch flat and watery but not enough to detract from the overall enjoyment.
D: Drinking fairly nice fresh but I am sure the Brett will get much better with some age. Probably not a favorite of the style but still nice and refreshing. Would definitely like to check out some Vintages one day.
