Picked up a 750mL bottle of the 2010 version of this brewed on 9/17/2010 #1655. Poured into a goblet.

A - This poured a dark honey amber color with hints of rosiness. There was a fragile head that dissipated quickly leaving only a thin layer of foam.

S - Initially, there is a slightly sour aroma with a bit of strawberry and apple.

T - The first taste is very clean and light. There is a light floral and fruity taste that grows stronger with more sips. It finishes with a hint of hops just to balance it all. The flavor is oddly reminiscent of sweettarts.

M - This beer has a thin mouthfeel with light carbonation.

Overall a decent beer. There was nothing overpowering or extraordinary, but good. I am looking forward to trying the 2011 version that's waiting for another session.

Drinking a 2011 in 2021
Look - bright orangish copper color which is fairly clear with a big white head
Smell - fruity brett smell with some pepper and belgium yeast
Taste - nice slight brett with an earthy floral taste and a slight spice
Feel - medium full body and slightly fizzy
Overall - for being 10 years old, shocked how good it is

Drinking a 2010 in 2022
Foamed up a lot when poured but other than that solid. Floral grainy slight citrus with a very tad tartness. Medium light body with a slight carb

Drank another 2011 at the end of 2021 and had to pour it, not good.

From notes - sampled fresh circa 2011

APP - crystal clear, glowing copper, low off-white head
AROMA - peach, brett-like fruitiness, pineapple, papaya, lemongrass, low horse, pepper, hibiscus, dried cherry
FLAVOR - peach, apricot, dried pineapple, nice herbal hop hit on the mid-palate, notes of white pepper and hay, strong tea-like character, low earthy flavor, very restrained sourness, high phenol, cigarette tobacco - very complex and fleeting flavor profile

MF - medium-liht bodied with bone-dry finish

This 4/8/2011 5.2% bottle was a gift from a dog walking friend. The label recommended bottle conditioning for up to five years so I figured I'd better get cracking.

Poured from a 650 ml bottle into a DFH tulip, there was still an abundant thick white head over a clear dark yellow body. Smell contained some of the winey hints present in some Belgian pale ales and maybe a hint of the flowery hop smells but I'm afraid most of them have faded. Taste was slightly more intense but I have a feeling the label advice was spot on. Mouthfeel was just fine per the style. Sorry I didn't drink this earlier but free craft beer FTW!

A: This is copper to amber in color with a 1 finger rapidly dissipating head.
S: estery aromas with some floral in the nose, after the esters, malt.
T: There is a little malt and fruit at the start but it finishes with a spicy, herbal, floral under taste
F: Medium to medium light body, medium high carbonation.
O: It is very refreshing. The herbal spiciness goes well with the carbonation and the hops. It kind of adds onto the malt and hop flavors – you can tell the floral is there but it is not overwhelming.
