A: Brown body under a slightly off white head, medium sized. Very little retention, some good lace.
S: Sour, mix of sweet and tart cherries, a little bit of wood and dark fruit.
T: Sour, hints of cherry and caramel, slightly vinous, red wine like, wood is there as well, well balanced, sour finish with a hint of wood.
M/D: Medium bodied, carbonation is high. Drinkability is good.

Pours a light reddish amber color with a white head. The aroma is fruity, sweet and sour and a bit oaky. Inviting and quality funky aroma. In the taste, nice acetic sourness and plenty of depth to it as well. A solid base beer is behind the sourness, with sugar plum, cherry and berry notes. This plays nicely with the oak and the sour. Everything is in good balance and the flavor really pops. Body is medium and semi dry with a lingering sour note. Overall, this is a really nice American Wild or Flanders Red. It kind of reminds me of a kriek lambic, not a surprise due to the Michigan cherries employed here. Good to savor every sip.
