Tasted on cask at Goose Island Clybourn. Pours a pale, cloudy golden with a thin but lasting white head. There is a very light citrus aroma, but mostly cereal. On the palate there is a slightly bitter citrus flavor and tastes a bit like green grapes. The body is super light and light carbonation to be expected from a cask ale. Overall, this is an easy drinker but far from exciting.

Had this a the April tasting on the 28th, from the taps at the time, at the Clybourn brew pub. It had an explosive nose of coriander and tangyness from the floral and spicy hops. Tangyness comes from a tangerine flavor, it does finish balanced with a slight sweetness from the wheat malt.
Light and fruity yet an easy and tasty drinker. This is a well made version of the style, albeit it isn't around anymore, but one that could be bottled. Recommended if you can find it.

I had this one at the Wrigley Outpost. It was served in tulip/snifter. The beer is a hazy gold with a off white head.
Nose of grains, spice and yes, citrus. The citrus smell was a mix of orange, lime and grapefruit
It has a refreshing taste that is a combination of spicy, citrus mix and crackers.
Very effervescent mouth. I thought it was an easy drinker & I had two with my tasty mushroom swiss burger.

Served in a snifter at GI-Clybourn 2/20/10.
A: Served a pale, greenish-gold. Perched on top is one finger of sticky white head that left some nice lace webbing down the sides of the glass.
S: Interesting aroma of mild citrus, toasty malt, and spicy wit yeast. Somewhat sweet.
T: As above, with a light biscuity flavor along with some tight, clean citrus, and spices.
M: Sticky and spicy with an awesome layer of citrus peel astringency that comes on in the finish.
D: Don't know why they rolled out this one in Feb...maybe to hurry the warmer months along? Who knows, but this is a supremely refreshing Spring/Summer beer. Hopefully it sticks around for its' (in my opinion) intended seasons.
