A: hazy gold, small amount of lacing, minimal head retention

S: huge sour and oak notes up front, lots of vinegar and some cherry in there as well , this is all present with an underlying funky quality

T: starts off with huge enamel dissolving acidity along with vinegar, oak, and fruit

Mf: medium body with high, spritzy carbonation

O: This is better than all of the 3 Sisters IMO... Bottles please!!

Had this a couple of times, notes from FoBAB.

A - Golden amber colored beer with a decent sized head that left behind a ton of stick on the sides.

S - A lot of brett on the nose and a decent amount of hay and citrus. Lactic sourness, little bit of white grapes, and some light oak that compliments rather than distracts.

T - The taste is really great. A lot of acetic tartness and some brett funk, citrus zest, tart sweetness, light fruit, and some wood on the end. Fantastic balance with the right flavors falling complementary and letting the tartness shine through.

M - Medium bodied with some moderate carbonation.

O - Really great beer, this is something that would be nice to drink again. One of the better wilds that Goose Island has done.

Had this on-tap at FoBAB. Listed as "A Rye Ale aged in French oak win barrels and innoculated with Brettanomyces Lambicus".

A - Poured with a billowing tan foam that took a while to settle down and left behind terrific glass-coating lace. The body was a lightly hazed golden bronze color.

S - Big notes of funk, white wine, acetic acid, lemons, and light oak.

T - Sour lemons, vinous, less funky than the nose, and some light pale malt and rye peak through. Very lambic/gueuze-like but with the added complexity of rye malt.

M - Medium body, zesty carbonation, dry finish. Very effervescent.

D - Quite drinkable. I probably used three of my tickets on this throughout the night, and it was highly successful at refreshing my palate for the bigger stouts and barleywines.

This made me think of Temptation, but with a kiss of rye. That's high praise indeed coming from me.
