I had this beer a couple of days ago at Clyburn Brewery and served in a pint glass, and cask conditioned as well! Was reddish brown with a medium creamy head. Smell was very mellow with a slight roasty nut aroma. Taste was smooth and very grainy with some mild malts to balance the grain. A ver drinkable & refreshing beer overall, too bad its retired!

Attractive reddish copper color, slim cap of off white foam on top that sticks around for awhile. Bright clarity that enhances the color.
Inoffensive aroma, light maltiness with some mild accents of husky grain. Clean and simple.
Light toastiness, buttered bread, clean unfettered malt flavors. A minimal presence of diacetyl, though it doesn't become distracting. Very light earthy hop in the aftertaste. Light on carbonation, true to style. An easy session ale that pairs well with most food, especially the pork sliders at Clybourn. Simplicity is underrated.
Goose really excels at crafting lighter English session ales that pair well with the creative food at the Clybourn brewpub, and Mild Mannered is no exception.

Served in an imperial pint glass at the Clybourn brewpub.
The Clark Kent of Goose Island beers... Anyway, this stuff pours a clear sunset topaz topped by a finger of off-cream-white foam. The nose comprises lightly-toasted biscuit, earthy greens, walnut, and mild toffee. The taste brings in more of the same, along with some light oak and sweet flowers. The body is a hefty light, with a light moderate carbonation, a slick feel, and a dry finish. Overall, a very nice, thoroughly enjoyable little mild. Good times.

Poured a copper brown with 1/2 inch head, tiny bubbles and slight lacing. Smells a bit of toffee and malts not a lot else for me maybe due to getting over a cold recently. Taste of slight hops, Malts and butterscotch. First time reviewing this style with a light mouthfeel and easy drinkability. Didn't blow me away but not too bad overall.

A. Pours amber with one finger creamy head that dissipates to a thin foam with some large clumps of residual lacing.
S. Toffee, caramel, butterscotch, sweet deliciousness - looking forward to a taste.
T. Dissappointing after the smell. A very sessionable, very British beer. Mild bitterness on the tail. Not a whole lot going on here.
M. Thin, watery.
D. Drinkable, not something I'd seek out (except for the style tick).

Thanks to mishuggah for the crazy fast hookup on this one
Pours an amber reddish with lots of nice head. Great head retention. Really looks quite pretty. Smells caramelly and slightly hoppy. Very surprising. Tastes sweet and Caramel heavy. A slight presence of hops but mostly just thick and sweet. A slight presence of buttery flavours but otherwise very solid. Bing unfamiliar with this style all i can say is that i was surprised by how much i enjoyed this one

A-transparent brown with a white head that quicklydisapates
S-watery malt. Very faint smell that is hard to pick up
T-lets just say that this isn't my thing. Very pale malt that is clean but not very appealling
M-crisp and clean with a very different aftertaste. Hard to nail down exactly what it is
D-very drinkable if I would ever want to drink it...
