On-tap at Goose Island Cly.

A - Pours a rusty reddish color, cream-colored head, thin collar.

S - Dark fruits, toffee, burnt sugars, and some yeast notes.

T - Similar to the nose. Dark fruits, burnt sugars, yeast, some caramel perhaps. Nice and sweet, rich, enjoyable.

M - Medium, good carbonation, sweet finish.

O - Pretty darn good and a nice amount of complexity for a 5% beer. The fruity sweetness is perfect and it really seems like a "bigger" beer then it really is.

On tap at Goose Island Clybourn. Poured into a tulip.

A: A darker golden color with beautiful red highlights. Half finger light tan head with decent retention and hardly any lacing.

S: Light in the nose as all their on tap beers have been. Malty caramel with a light Belgian yeast coming through.

T: Caramel upfront. Belgian yeast and floral hops coming through in the middle. Finishing fairly grassy.

M: Light bodied. Medium high carbonation. Finishing slightly dry.

O: A good light Belgian. Goose Island lists it as a Belgian Style Session Ale. Would be a great entry into Belgians without over doing the yeast flavors.
