Served in a nonic pint at the Clybourn brewpub, quick review from written notes.
Dark saturated orange with bright clarity. Concentric rings of drippy lace that look like ladder rungs. Lasting surface coverage as well, compact layer of foam sits on top for awhile.
Dry hoppy aroma, earthy with a slight hint of papaya in there, but it's very subtle.
Pine sap bitterness dominates, lightly malty in the middle, not really fruity, missing the advertised tangerine and papaya. Medium bodied and dry, slight residual stickiness. Overall it's a good IPA, though not tropical or exotic in the least.
