On tap at the Wrigley outpost. Served in a 12 oz snifter for $6. Beer is a hazy straw with a dense white head.

Nose of grains and some lemon rind funk.

taste is tart but not overwhelming. Light citrus and a bit grainy to go along with the tartness. It really hit the spot on a humid summer day.

The mouth is slick and slightly coating, could use a bit more carbonation, but the beer is refreshing a very easy to drink.

Serving type: on-tap

64zo growler poured into a snifter and a berliner bowl just for grins. The brew appears a perfectly clear light golden color with a finger of white that fades back to a penline of bubbles that holds around the edge of the glass.

The aroma contains a pleasant lemony essence with a soft, fresh wheat-like grain inclusion that induces thoughts of cereal. Some mild accenting fruity quality somewhat like apple or pear skins is also present flirting somewhat into mild cider territory. The cider feel really emerges as it warms.

The taste is tart with a lemon juice sorta character that is dumbed down with apple juice. A faint pear note in the aftertaste. There is a little bit of funky feet and stinky cheese mid-palate almost suggesting that lacto was either the singular fermenting pitch or at the verybleast played a significant role.

This is anlight bodied brew that is modestly carbonated. It is crisp, clean, refreshing and downright poundable. A berliner im happy about sitting and drinking 64oz of myself...with ease. The only pitfall I see in this brew is the cider sorta aspect got to me after a couple glasses. Im not sure if that is my fault for having held on to this growler for awhile. Regardless, id drink more of this if it was made available to me.
