This place doesn't really feel like a brewpub. There is a huge bar on the right as you enter, and there are long high tables in the middle of the floor where many happy people seem to be enjoying pizza. The restaurant has a nice warehouse-y feel. There is a seating area behind some columns on the left side of the restaurant too.

The brewery has 7 or 8 beers on tap, as well as a nice selection of craft and import drafts from other breweries. There is also a very small but nicely selected grouping of bottles from other breweries.

The staff was attentive, but not that knowledgeable about beer. We sat at the bar and had quick service all night long. The bar got rather smoky (after 8 on a Saturday Night), and it was almost unpleasantly smoky near the end of the night. There is a non-smoking section, which might be a good idea if you're planning an evening visit.

The beers were all of good quality, but only one really stood out as a beer that I would seek out. The Dysfunctionale was a high gravity well hopped beer, that I felt was a good choice.

The pizza and salad that we ordered were both very good. If you are looking for Chicago style pizza you will not find it here, but if you like thin crust you'll find something to enjoy.

Review from notes - Visited on a Sunday that the Blackhawks were in the playoffs, so it was extremely hard to get a place at the bar to eat...may have taken 15-20 minutes. Not too bad. I had a beer in hand so all was good. Tried the Marketing Ploy, Victoria, and Golden Arm. All three were well done and served in proper glassware. The staff appeared to be well versed in the beers that they were pouring, but given the situation, they were less inclined to really talk about it. Also had a pizza and it was really good, if you like thin crust pizza. While it is "New Haven" style pizza, and the crust was what I expected, it lacked flavor in addition to the sauce, as compared to those pizzerias in New Haven. Don't get me wrong, the next time that I am in Chicago, I will be back. Good beer, good pizza and a good vibe...what more can you really ask for?

I was so excited to try the beer and pizza here. The place is very nice inside and had an awesome beer list. I order the flight of beer and most of their beers were delicious. My only issue with this place was I ordered a Hannsens Gueuze and they brought me a St. Louis without telling me they didn't have Hannsens anymore. This annoyed me a bit because my waitress told me "it's the same thing" which I couldn't disagree more with. The pizza was great and I would def come back here to eat and drink their beers on draft.
