Made my way in here on a Friday night. I popped in to put our name in while my friends circled the block to find someplace to park. It was jam packed but I made my way up to the bar near the servers' station to order a Whack Job (their 9.5% DIPA). It was delicious. I was told we had an hour and 15 minute wait but it ended up being closer to 45 minutes. It's got a nice atmosphere although at 33 years old I felt like an old man. Most of the crowd appeared to be mid to late twenties and single. My wife and our married friends didn't fit in but did not feel like we were singled out. The pizza is fantastic and they are big. Each couple ordered a small, because we didn't want to take any back to the hotel. Also, had a tasty spinach and artichoke dip beforehand. I tried the Alt and Golden Arm kolsch, too. Nice German-style beers. Only complaint is that the loud music made conversation a little difficult. All in all, it's a great brewpub.

Piece is a must visit for out of towners. Everyone has to get over the idea that all Chicagoans only eat is deep dish. While you won't find an extensive beer list here you will find a small, but great selection of Piece brews. They have their regulars / year rounds (4-6) with a small rotation of seasonals and limited releases (2-3 beers).
It's always busy, but if you go for an early or late dinner then getting a table shouldn't be a problem. Avoid this place 5pm-8pm or you can put your name in and walk around Wicker Park while you wait. There are plenty of bars to get a beer at while you wait an unreasonably long time.
The beers are above average with a few standing out against others. Most of the brews are of the Belgian style (not my cup of tea), but they do some great stouts and porters. My personal favorite, Flatiron is a solid oatmeal stout with some chocolate notes.
The pizza is what really sets this place apart. Do not order a pepperoni and cheese with red sauce. It's a great pizza, but you have so many other options here that you're doing yourself a disservice. We always order the white pizza with mashed potatoes and bacon. Delicious.
Piece is a great spot for game days and I'd suggest going early then bar hopping in Wicker Park or down Division (a few blocks south) for a great sampling of Chicago night life.
