This place has a decent selection of craft beers, but mostly in bombers. The choices of 6ers is pretty minimal, but those choices are quality. The thing I did like is an above average quantity of single 12 oz bottles of quality craft beer.

I didn't need any "service," but the people working there were quick to ask if I needed any help.

Wine selection also appeared respectable, but I was there browsing for beer so didn't spend a whole lot of time looking at the wine and spirits.

This place was rather pricey, with both bombers and 6ers ranging $1-$2 more than I'm accustomed to paying in IL. I tried another liquor store down the street and prices were similar, so this may be an IN phenomenon. I did note their Russian River selection... albeit at $40+ a bottle. Yeah, right. Nice try.

Q: Located in a good part of town. Nice store, has beer/wine/liquor.

Svc: Was pretty busy when I was in there, and when I was at the register I didn't talk to them about the beers. They get a 4 due to the Value section below.

S: Good Indiana and National (Stone/Rogue/Etc) selections. There were also a few Belgians in there that I was looking for, specifically the Corsendonk Christmas w/glass pack. Good enough to swing through if driving by or really trying to find something, but not worth a special trip (unless really close).

V: The real problem was the pricing. I would say that this is more of an issue with the Crown Liquors as a whole, not the individual stores. Anyway, just about everything I was looking at was overpriced, and I am talking about on the high-end of overpricing. I will note that the woman at the register gave me a discount on the Corsendonk Xmas w/glass set that I'd purchased. This was because they had a couple left and she said that it was out of season. Props on that, but the other beers were just too much to pay for on a regular basis.

Like I said: Good enough to swing through if driving by or really trying to find something, but not worth a special trip (unless really close). Other stores reviewed will reveal better stopping points.

I work right down the road from here and stop by quite a bit. The store has a decent selection of craft beers, and the service is really good. The people that work there are really nice and are more than happy to talk beer with you. Sometimes they'll have a dollar clearance rack, all bottles $1 a piece, and they'll put some pretty good beers out there that can be aged, so that's pretty cool. Overall not the best in the Indy area but a good store. Also, one time I scored some 2 year old Matilda and Pere Jacques so I was pretty stoked about that.

Having gone there three different times, twice in the same weekend, and the other time a year apart, I feel like I owe it a review. This has some really quality stuff and selection - FFF, DFH, Victory, Laughing Dog, Hoppin' Frog, Brooklyn, with a bunch of Indiana micros that you won't get anywhere but Indiana. There is a small collection of singles from which you can grab a couple bottles, but this is mostly bombers and six packs. Everytime I have been there, there seems to be a couple beers out for sampling. Nice touch. The staff is always super helpful and friendly (they'll pour you a sample, give you recommendations, then transport your beer to your car for you). It is a bit on the high side ($11 bucks for a FFF sixer when I could have got the same six pack for $9 in Wisconsin...really?). But, if you are heading to Deer Creek for some shows, definitely stop by.

Stopped in today because I read that they had some Russian River beers, albeit 41.99+ a bottle. It's a pretty big store which devotes plenty of space to liquor and wine. The beer selection was pretty standard for a Crown, with the exception of the Russian River. I was surprised to find some aged bottles from several breweries that were even older than a few that I have been saving. The employees asked me several times if I needed help and were willing to answer questions. They definitely had quality and focused on bigger name craft brewers. It's a good store and worth the stop.

I went into this store a few weeks ago looking for the FFF Arctic Panzer Wolf. When I asked I was directed to Patty, their beer manager. Patty was extremely helpful and was sorry that they were sold out. She did however direct me to another location. Don't worry your secret is safe!!! She told me that if I was looking for some hard to finds or special releases that I could email her.

This week I received a message from her making me aware that they got their Apocalyps Cow. She also invited me to the store for the Indiana Beer Week tasting. I would call this above and beyond.

The selection is a little limited due to the amount of Crown Liquors I would guess they have to share the allotment they get in. Dear owner, please give them more of your allotment. We are begging for it.

I would say that it is a bit pricey. they had some Russian River that was absurdly priced!!! Overall a few bucks more, but well worth it due to knowledge and customer service. I will continue to frequent this store first.

Stopped in looking for some new FFF the other day. Surprised of the stock of warm bombers. Had more FFF than other stores around Fishers. Seemed to have a lot of 6 packs in the fridge too. Good selection of imports, but stuck with FFF and Stone. Can't go wrong with them. Talked with an associate for a little bit about some new beers coming out. He seemed pretty knowledgeable, but said Patty was by far the one to talk to about anything coming out. I'd go back as the staff was friendly and their prices were reasonable for what they were selling.

stopped in on a lark while out of town on my way to a meeting. pretty average sized location with a good selection of domestic craft as well as import.

treated to GREAT service from patty the beer manager at the store. ended up walking out with bottles of 2007 and 2008 behemoth barleywine from FFF along with a bottle of lord admiral Nelson that wasn't shelved but offered up from the back.

all with a 15% discount for American craft beer week.

reasonable though certainly not cheap prices.

thumbs up.

Good place. Patti, who is the manager I think, is super nice, really helpful and always glad to see you. You might find some nice vintage goodies here, as well as some odd surprises in certain lambics, obscure belgians, or american craft oddities. They have a large selection of the three floyds bombers, along with mikeller, and even some allagash curieux, which is surprisingly hard to find around here. They have a couple coolers of sixers, and a row of good bombers. I think this was once spinkle's store?

They have the mix-a-sixer, plenty of macro, spirits and wine as well.

Stopped by Crown in Fishers today on an Indy beer-buying trip. I was pretty satisfied with their variety of domestic and imported craft beer. They had a decent amount on the shelves and in the coolers for being a fairly small location. I was pleased to find a few older beers to add to the collection - 2007 BCS and 2007 Old Stock were nice surprises. The prices were pretty average for the area. My only complaint was the limited array of singles on the shelves in comparison to the Crown out in Caramel. I like to try a variety when I'm somewhere other than home, and I can't buy numerous different six packs on my budget. The lady behind the counter was nice, and she offered to check to see if there was more of a certain label for us. Pretty solid location, but I'll probably head out to Caramel the next time I'm in Indy.
