Had on-tap at the brewery.

Was a dark tea color, maybe like a strongly brewed red tea. Had a white head. Had a subtle honey sweetness at first and then turned slightly bitter. Stated 31 IBU. Like many of the quads I've had the sweetness comes through far more than the alcohol and it did just that with this one. It was a good beer.

This poured out as a nice looking reddish brown color with a fizzy white head on top. The head settles and leaves a ring around the glass and some scattered bubbles on top. The smell of the beer is sweet, but doesn't give off enough aroma to really impact my senses. The taste of the beer is sweet, a little fruity, some booze in there too. The mouthfeel was a little high in carbonation, I felt like it should have been a little thicker too and smoother. Overall this beer was pretty good but not as good as some Quad's out there.
