Went here for the first time with a buddy last month. Apparently I missed out on their original location and the new, current site is very nice. Good sized with a big bar filling the middle and various space around the perimeter including a few tables but there is also an upstairs that didn;t seem to be open for business yet. It's a sort of dark, busy place with some peripheral chairs and seating arrangements beyond the bar. Bar tenders seemed pretty attentive, responsive and knowledgeable about the beers. Free tastes were not a problem. The selection was solidly a craft beer lover's idea of a good night out with numerous big craft brewers along with some more local, smaller ones like Cigar City. Pricing was very friendly for a quality beer line up like this. No food, but there were a few local places you could easily walk to if in need of solid sustenance. I thought the staff was pretty friendly for a busy place and I have no complaints. I've seen better selections but I also was pretty content with what they had, and i expect the selection changes constantly so it's just a matter of when you hit it and what you're looking for. I definitely will return and can recommend this place to any beer lover.

No food! This is killing their ratings. Great place with great selection. The cellared area always has a few whalez swimming around (see what I did there?).

Great spot for craft in bottles and on draft.
Very cozy, food all around in plaza.
Great events.
Brew their own beers, as well.

This place has devolved over the years. They have about 2o or so beers on tap but have played the game of huge price increases with ridiculous 6oz pours. I think they rented more square feet for what they can handle and are trying to screw the customer. You can no longer get a pint or if you can it is a garbage beer for $6. The rest are all tiny pours for 7 to 12 dollars and with bad choices. Hourglass Brewery in Orlando blows this place out of the water. Go to Stardust around the corner, left at 7-11 for less choices but some real good ones for 1/2 the price of Red Light Red Light. Place used to be reasonable with better beers before they moved locations. Bottle prices have become absolutely ridiculous.

Great low key place to really enjoy some craft beers and wine! The barkeeps are knowledgeable and will help you find a good beer, whatever you're in the mood for! Try some vintage beers or even taste some of their own brewed Redlight Redlight beer on tap!

I really like this place. I live about 20-something minutes away and go once or twice a month. I never have had a bad experience during any visit, particularly at the current location. As far as I can remember, RL RL has now had 3 locations (it began over near Rollins College in Winter Park, and then moved to a spot off Colonial Drive, and now it is near Audubon Park/Baldwin Park) and each has had a unique charm/atmosphere.

The bottle selection here is great and the diversity of the drafts is impressive and interesting. Some of the bottles are very pricey, though. I've declined buying certain things due to the price and wish that they were slightly lower. It's not that big a deal, but certain bottles that shouldn't cost so much do cost a lot here.

Overall, this place is great. The employees are awesome and do an impressive job, considering that it gets very busy sometimes and that there is a lot going on during such events as Zwanze Day. I am looking forward to my next visit. Definitely stop in here if you've yet to or if you're visiting Orlando.

Great Bar. Being a patron as soon as I could legally drink I've seen the three variations of the grand bar! Every bartender has great stories, knows their stuff and are able to recommend the beer you want to drink, that you haven't had! If you are ever in the vicinity of this great local establishment, do your self a favor and pass on by!

Their homebrew ran out so I got another DIPA on tap. The waitress covered my beer because I didn't get the one I wanted. Very nice staff and wonderful selection. Definitely going back when I get a chance.

I was staying in town for business and decided to give this place a try. I wasn't quite as enamored with this place as others, but this is probably the best selection in Orlando.

The whole area kind of lacks any real feel to it. It is located in a tiny strip mall with other restaurants and clothes shops surrounding it. The exterior is non-descript, and the interior lacks any feel. It is vacuous with no real attitude or ambiance.

My one complaint, which really isn't a true complaint, just a preference, is that out of the 25 or so taps, there was only ONE, yes ONE IPA. I know not everyone is a hophead, but this is the only BA worthy bar I have been to in the past 6 years or so that didn't have atleast three or four IPAs on tap. The only one available was Swamp Head Big Nose, which was a nice beer. The variety of styles is unmatched, which is most desireable.

The style selection runs the gamut from Altbier to Barrel Aged Saison to Helles to Schwarzbier. The bottled selection was awesome and rivaled any bottle selection I have seen anywhere in Florida. There had to be 500 bottled beers. They even had a huge ass bottle of St Feuillien (sp?) that was a 9L bottle, also known as a Salmanazar, for sale. The bartender said it was about $600.

Service was okay. I wasnt really acknowledged when I walked in and was ignored for about two minutes. After the initial introductions, the servers were knowledgable and conversational.

For beer, this is a true destination in Orlando.

I miss the old redlight location, but this one does seem to be bringing in a bigger crowd. That being said, I always try to stop in at non-peak hours. When it's packed it becomes a bit too loud and unpleasant. If you stop in when there isn't many people this is the best place to find crafts in central Florida. The bartenders are all very knowledgable, and mostly pleasent.
Prices are reasonable on draft and more common brews, but the markup is a little steep for the moderately rare and higher bottles. They do have a nice vintage list though.

Overall a winner!

Stopped in here while down in Florida during the Christmas holidays (2013) after I read a great review by one of my adopted beer sons. He was spot on with his take of this great beer establishment. Great vibe, great brews on tap, and a vintage section to die for (yeah I splurged and picked up a vintage DFH Raison D'Extra .... kinda regret now that I didn't pick up the 2 Calling Birds as well). At any rate, if you are NEAR Orlando I'd highly recommend hitting this great spot.

This is fantastic place for craft beer. I'm not a big fan of loud environments when I'm trying to hang out with friends, but for the selection they have I'm willing to sacrifice. The service is good, I gave it a 3 only because they can't help that the place is always packed and can only do so much for each customer. I imagine it would be amazing when not so crowded. It's a nice building, the old Carrier dealer from way back. I really like how they have a cooler full of aged beers, though I think the prices on some of those are a bit high. I really like the set up inside. The selection, again, is just ridiculous compared to any other bar in the area. There's so much to choose from on tap and in bottles/cans. They rotate regularly as well, so you can guarantee that you can go often and still have plenty of options to choose from. Moving out to that area soon, so I'll probably go a lot more often and probably enjoy it a lot more since I'll be able to go on days where it's no so busy/crowded. Definitely worth a visit and then some.

Best place in Orlando, or Central Florida for that matter, to get great craft beer. They have approximately 30 beers on tap, two of which are cask, and the list changes fairly often. Their bottle list is quite extensive and they have a couple vintage coolers in the back with some bottles at least several years old. Highly recommended.

Finally checked this place on Friday night. The only real complaint is the parking, which can be very difficult on a Friday and Saturday night. The place was packed but we were able to grab a table. Our bartender was very good, even with recommendations and the beers were reasonably priced. I was surprised to see that they offered a fairly large selection of beers aged up to 5 or so years as well as 2 different cask beers. the aged beers were expensive but everything else, like I said, was reasonably priced. We stumbled on a 7venth Sun tap takeover, which was a nice surprise.

I've visited Redlight numerous times at both its old and new location. The new location is much much better than the last location. The bar has plenty of seating and the space itself is very open. I do wish they had more seating, but I think that they are limited as to how many seats they can have per city code. Parking is easy during the week, but can be tough to park during Friday & Saturday evening. The beer selection is always great, they tend to have on tap pretty much any style that you like and they do have a large selection of bottles available. The staff has been nothing but AWESOME since I have started going there. Redlight is a place to go to if you are visiting Orlando or are passing by.

I was south of Orlando on business, so decided to make the journey to Redlight Redlight based on the reviews. This joint is worth the accolades bestowed upon it. Great tap selection, great bottle list which is fairly up to date, knowledgeable bar tenders, decent vibe, and great food card outside. There were four Cigar City taps on, plus a good selection of various styles from outside of FL, including a lambic tap. Can't argue with that! Pricing isn't bad, either. Definitely worth checking out, even with a short drive.

Went there on a tuesday night and was very impressed by the selection. Very knowledgable bartenders willing to challange people to try new things. This one girl wanted a blue moon and the bartended got her to drink a St. Louis Gueze and she loved it! Great example of beer advocacy!

They had a randall with Cigar City Porter flowing though coffee beans and a great looking vintage list, and a great glassware collection.

Would love to visit again, just don't ever want to set foot in Orlando without being drunk first.

This place is easily the best beer bar in town! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Laid back atmosphere. Great selection of Drafts, most of them are rotating daily. You can usually find a good Cigar City selection on tap. There is also a big Bottle list, and a nice Vintage list as well. They are beer and wine only, no food served but there are a variety of food trucks on site most nights. The worst part about it is that I don't live closer! I'd recommend stopping in for a beer if you are in Orlando.

Between the bottle and draft selections, there is no better beer bar in Florida. While many of there beers are hard to find, the range in selection accommodates everyone from the casual to the extreme beer drinkers. Twenty-three beer on tap and two beer engineers. They have between 100-150 bottles. Also, they have bottles of sake and mead. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and willing to help you pick out the perfect beer. They have bands on the weekends. Food trucks are usually there on Friday and Saturday. This place is a must stop for any great beer drinker

Made the journey across treacherous downtown Orlando for this beer bar, and boy did it pay out.

Upon an early inspection (we got there before they opened - fyi this place is late afternoon/nights only), I was a little taken aback by the concrete shack, but inside it was spacious enough. Even had enough room for live music.

The first thing I see when I walk in is the SOUR ALE FRIDGE to the left of the front door. I'm already happy with the place at this point. The tap selection was great, and the bottle list as well. I was hard pressed to find a bad beer on the menu. I had a beer expert and a newby with me, and we were able to find something for everyone's tastes.

You can take beer to go. I found two bottles of Cascade that I had looked all over Orlando for (Total Wines and Knightly Spirits turned up empty, but these guys had them). The markup was substantial but worth it for me, as I live somewhere that they do not distribute.

It's an absolute dive, and a beer lovers must see if you are in Orlando.

This is in a little hole-in-the-wall building not far from Downtown Orlando.

The walls are covered is all sorts of random craft-brewery signs, lights, and other memorabilia. It's the perfect atmosphere for a beer bar. You can tell just from the way looks that its not going to be full of frat-boys ordering bud-light and blaring club music.

The selection is great, both draft and bottle. They switch out drafts often and update a few times a week on their facebook page about new beers they are adding. They will hold on the kegs for a good amount of time to age them before ever serving them.

Also, aisde from their regular bottle list, they have a list of beers they have been cellaring which are for sale (though on the expensive side). It's cool to look over the list to see if anything catches your eye that would be worth $30.

The service is good as they are knowledgeable on the beer they have available. I went a week ago and they accepted my credit card, so it looks like they are NOT cash only anymore.

Was in town for Bayhill golf tournament. Went in on a Friday night. The place was about 75% full with a laid back artcy crowd. There is a decent amount of seating in various locations throughout the establishment. Booths and tables at one end and couches at the other. In between is the bar with about seating for 15 people. they had 3 bartenders pouring. So they were able to get your order pretty quickly. A pretty decent menu with a few good rarities. The vintage menu was decent, but slightly pricy. they had two hand pull engines with english Pale Ales (Kipling and Mareston's). They had CCB on tap, Rogue, St. Bernardus, all I believe they had about 25+ taps. You do have to ask for the beer menu as they do not list the bottles. They have an outside area with eight tables for the smokers in the crowd. Parking is a little tough. A nice beer bar.

I went to this place a week ago from a recommendation from friends. This is a small hole in the wall place off the main road. They have a nice selection of beers, and what was really neat was they have a few kegs that pour the beer the antiquated way. However, I felt the bartenders were standoff-ish and not too friendly. Additionally, they were showing some odd movies that night... and I mean really odd- the film was about how World War II was America's fault or something crazy.
I also didn't care for the fact it was a cash only bar. I won't go back.
