Presentation: It was poured into a notched pint glass from the tap at the Ellicottville Brew Pub's Fredonia Location. It was described as "an ultra Pale Ale lighter in body and malt flavor than most American Pales. ABV 4.4% The Hop is Citra."

Appearance: The body has a bright yellow gold color with great clarity. On top sits a small one finger thick white head. It hangs on well and makes some nice lace on the glass.

Smell: The aroma has an intoxicating sweet maltiness with tons of juicy hop character. It is intensely citrusy and fruity with just a hint of a Band-Aid like phenolic note. The malt is much lighter and understated which works well with the vibrant hops.

Taste/Palate: It is a little lighter bodied than most Pale Ales, sort of a light to medium range with a good bright and juicy hop forward character. This is right on point from the aroma and there are nice citrusy lemon and grapefruit with hints of pineapple and phenolic Band-Aid notes over a delicate sweet cakey (lemon cake) layer of maltiness. It finishes fairly dry with more citrusy hops and mellow hop bitterness. The lighter body easy drinking texture makes for an extremely refreshing beer with plenty of nice carbonation.

Notes Overall it has a modest and pleasing hop complexity with tons of easy hot summer time drinkability.
