Our latest Ninja variant is a Coffee Milk Porter. A huge addition of coffee brewed from Asheville’s Mountain Air Roasting gives this beer off the charts coffee aroma and flavor but very little bitterness. We added lactose to our award winning Ninja Porter which complements all the coffee notes with a silky
smooth sweetness.
smooth sweetness.

A: Pours an opaque yet still clear extremely dark brown approaching jet black in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation along the edges of the glass and moderate dark cola brown highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense creamy foamy tan head that reduces to a large patch of thin film covering the entire surface of the beer with a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed,
S: Moderate to strong aromas of freshly brewed medium roast coffee along with light to moderate aromas of moderately sweet lactose and roasted malts.
T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of roasted malts with a light to moderate amount of lactose sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of freshly brewed medium roast coffee and hints of charred malts. Very light amounts lingering bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth.
O: The combination of the milky sweetness and the coffee flavors are definitely reminiscent of a latte - not overly sweet and not overly bitter. Easy to drink and enjoyable with well hidden lower ABV making it almost sessionable. I could easily have a couple of these.
