Poured from a can into a shaker pint, the beer is a slightly hazy, bright, copper-orange coloring with a thin, low profile, clingy, bright white head. Aromas of tangerine, orange peel, subtle caramel highlights, and a biscuit backbone. Flavors are richly sweet forward, with a caramel backbone supporting a heavy tangerine and citrus component. Floral highlights throughout, with some grassy and woody notes, too. A bit on the rustic side, with a smooth, slightly dry body. The aftertaste is more of the citrus notes, with bits of grass and spice. The finish is slightly bitter, subtly dry, and with a grassy, citrus linger. Tasty and refreshing.

Served in a can at Edison Craft Beer & Kitchen in Asheville, NC
A: Pours a lightly hazy golden orange in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and some apricot highlights. The beer has a finger thick sudsy foamy beige head that reduces to a small thin patch and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit and citrus/orange hops over the top of lighter aromas of caramel malts.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of caramel malts with a light amount of sweetness. That is quickly overtaken by the slightly stronger than moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit and citrus/orange hops which contribute a moderate amount of lingering bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of dryness are present in the finish.
O: Pairs really nicely with food - in my case with an asian inspired chicken and sweet potato waffles. Nice hop aromas and flavors without too much corresponding bitterness. Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. One that I will grab again.
