I admit I tend to drink lighter stuff here in the searing summer humidity here in NC even if begrudgingly.Pours a lightly hazed very light golden with a nice looking lacey half finger white head atop.A good amount of citrus in the nose along with some pine underneath, some dryer malt notes are in there as well.Sweet citrusy hops at the onset of the palate, with a malt backbones that's only mildly sweet giving off more of a biscuit note, more hops linger in the finish.Iam not a huge fan of the "session" IPA's but Iam not sure this is one, enough hops to make it interesting and enough malt to want more.

A: Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a finger of white head that fades into a frothy ring with a little lacing.
S: Sweet citrus on the nose with pineapples and oranges mostly. Melon and peach aromas also come through.
T: Citrus here as well, though more like orange rind and grapefruit. There is an earthy and piney hop flavor before a lightly bitter finish.
M: Body is on the lower side of moderate with medium carbonation; this beer is quite drinkable.
O: A good IPA, overall, and quite drinkable with a relatively low abv. It packs a lot of hop characteristics into an almost sessionable beer.

Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a hazy, yellow-gold coloring, with a filmy, light, white head. Nose of herbal notes, with evergreen, basil, and cilantro spices, with subtle citrus notes. Flavors are spice forward, with a light lemon-cake backbone. Very spice/herbal heavy, on a slick, mid-body. Spicy hops backbone, with a slick, dry finish.
