Appearance: Golden color that has a nice froth and lace
Smell: Abundance of hops. Very nice smell of hops with a slight citrus/malt undertone.
Taste: A great amount of hops at first taste. Incredible character of hops but very smooth at the same time. Nice balance of malt flavor. A bit of a bitter finish from all the hops but very good.
A very good IPA which I highly recommend.

Had on-tap at Bonefish Grill Asheville. Served in a tall slim glass.
A- Pours a medium amber color with a 1/4 inch off-white head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a full sheet of surface foam. Resilient lacing leaves a thick ring behind
S- Mild hop aroma of grass and pine with some toasty malt beneath.
T- The bitterness starts out subdued which is proper for an English IPA but, after a while, it starts to creep in more and more letting you know this was indeed made in America. Still, there's a solid malt backbone rounding everything out and bringing a nice sweetness to the table.
M- A bit sharp from the hops and slightly dry. Medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the fuller side.
O- A very solid, sessionable IPA from one of Asheville's mainstay breweries. I like that they go the English route while a lot of other Asheville breweries do a decent American style IPA but they all end up tasting the same for whatever reason. This one sticks out.

12 ounce bottle poured into Samuel Adams Perfect Pint Glass
A - deep gold color with fluffy one and a half inch head, good retention and good lacing.
S - weak nose, but mostly pine, and bread
T - caramel malts balanced by a piney hop finish
M - good carbonation, slight aftertaste
O - nice offering if not world changing.
