Served on-tap at City Beverage in Winston-Salem, NC

A: Pours a clear dark copper red in color with moderate amounts of gentle visible carbonation throughout the beer and some ruby red highlights. The beer has a finger tall foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a couple of medium sized patches of thick film along with a very thin film covering the majority of the surface and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass.

S: Moderate aromas of pine and spicy hops over a light aroma of toasted and caramel malts.

T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of toasted and caramel malts with a light to moderate amount of sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of spicy and pine hops that imparts a moderate amount of bitterness which fades pretty quickly.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Hints of dryness in the finish.

O: Enjoyable with enough hoppiness to keep it from being boring. The alcohol is pretty well hidden and the beer is relative easy to drink. (1,007 characters)

First had: on tap at Green Man

I can't turn down a beer inspired by Rush, even if it is spelled wrong (though I'm assuming that was intentional?).

Clearish red-amber pour with a small cap of off-white head that sank to a ringlet. Roasty caramel malt aroma, piney hops. Similar taste, caramel malts, slightly roasty, good balance of crisp piney hops. Pretty simple. Light-medium body, higher alcohol was well-hidden, making for an easily drinkable brew. (455 characters)
