From notes @ Harts Pub
Pours black, with a one finger coarse tan head. Looks the biz.
Aromas of sharp roast malts - not what I was expecting
Taste is also dominated by sharp roast malts, somewhat overbearing, and one-dimensional
Mouthfeel a touch watery.
Overall - almost a coffee IPA, a mile away from a hefe. Disappointing - little complexity to this palate

Not bad. Looks really good then most dunkels tend to. Lively tan / caramel with a touch of haze. The beer is very easy to drink with soft milk chocolate, subtle roast, and just a hint of astringency to finish, the latter for good measure. Fairly straightforward but it worked quite well. As good as many German efforts commonly available in the import market.

Tap at Biero. Pours black with a large head. Nose shows loads of toasty malt with some banana in the background. Too toasty. Favours mirror the aroma almost perfectly: toasty, bready malt and banana. Finishes abruptly. Again, too toasty. Body seems light, almost watery.

Pours out with a huge 4 fingers of throthy head. A bit bubblier then expected, like popping crystals. Very dark mahogoney hue, with quite a bit of cloudiness.
Hints of cocoa, coffee and chocolate... not very dunkel weizen. Hints of almost almondy banana bready hybrid stuff. Strange.
Again, more like a regular Dunkel, then a Hefeweizen Dunkel. Chocolate, caramel, a little bit of roastiness. There are subtle hints of creamy banana, but it is very much overshadowed. Not so much true to style, but very nice tasting none-the-less. Similar to the Barock Dunkel of Weltenburger fame.
Not as heavy, as say drinking a weihenstephaner, with not as much yeast character. Still has a hint of a punch from the 6% though.

This beer pours a kola beer colour with nice carbonation that leaves a frothy, bubbly two finger head with nice noticable lacing, the aroma is sweet malts and some bananna laced wheat,it has an above average mouthfeel which finishes quite thin with just feint average dunkel flavours of chocolate, banannas and wheat and to be honest i was expecting way more from this brew even tho its very easy drinking its not the best example of a Dunkel for me.

This pours a dark brown with a good head.
There is a distinct mustiness when it is first poured. Eventually the hefe bananas come through but not strongly.
The toastiness seems to overwhelm everything on the palate.
I am little confused by this one. There is a nice mouth feel but overall I am a little unsure.

The newest guy in the Bridge Road Chevalier stable. Always excited for new beers...
A - Pours a very dark brown with a few centimetres of beige head that slowly falls away to a thin whisp.
S - Yeasty esters abound, a bit of banana but also some earthy, musty notes.
T - Banana yeast in the taste as well. This blends quite nicely with some caramel & roasty, slight chocolate maltiness.
M - A medium bodied, quite smooth mouthfeel.
D - Another nice beer from Bridge Road, wouldn't drink heaps of it in one sitting but I'm glad I bought another bottle. Good value at $13.99.
