Picked this up at my bottleshop today have heard of it but never tried until now,it pours a beautfiful cloudy orange/golden brown hue with nice carbonation that leaves a frothy two finger head and sticky lacing all around the rim and sides of the glass, the smell is sensational aswell with aromas of sweet piney, mango resinous hops and some pineapple aswell,it has a nice easy medium mouthfeel which is very sessionable with tastes of piney, citrus hops, pineapple,a dab of some caramel malts and it finishes quite nice and bitter which definately makes me go for another sip, overall i really rate this beer and ive never had a brew that i can remember that showcases the galaxy hop as much as this one and i just hope Bridge Road Brewers continue to do this sort of stuff as ill buy it everytime i see it if they do just so glad i went the six pack instead of only a couple.

Aroma is spices, a slightly odd dankness and sweetish malts. The flavor is spices, grapefruit, malts, fruit and a long and mix of tart, slight bitterness and heat in the finish.

Yellow with a tinge of orange and a thin white head.
Wonderful bright, tropical aroma from the Galaxy hops. Easily the best part of the brew.
Taste was abrasively bitter and not at all enjoyable.

Color has a golden, murky appearance with foamy lacing. My first time isolating the Galaxy hop in an IPA. I find it to be rather dry but this IPA has some fruity passionfruit and considerable malt to balance it into a good offering. I still think the Galaxy alone is an acquired taste.

Bottled 3/18/15.
Pours a murky dark honey orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus zest, grapefruit juice, tropical fruit, and earthy hop aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and earthy hop flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop and earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that starts out citrus and tropical fruit forward, but more earthy hop qualities come out and take over as the beer warms up.
Serving type: bottle.

Straw yellow poor with a superb fluffy white head. Aroma of strong tropical and passion fruit. Crisp full flavour. Taste is nice and bitter. Great beer with some full on aroma distinctive to the galaxy hop.

Didn't really pour with much head and what was there quickly faded. A deep golden colour and pours fairly cloudy. There is an unmistakable Galaxy hops aroma and on the first sip I found it too bitter, but after drinking a little more it seems better balanced. The bottle says is has a medium malt profile but I don't really get this. Overall a good beer but not great.

330ml poured into half pint
L - orange/brown, cloudy, pours a very thick white frothy head.
S - tropical fruit (mango, passionfruit), hint of pine and spicy notes.
T - very hoppy - intense fruity flavours - mainly passionfruit, followed by woody, caramel malts and a fairly tarty bitterness at the finish.
M - moderate carbonation, dry almost caustic texture, medium to heavy bodied
O - very much a bitter, tropical hop style is Galaxy. Nice, but couldn't down to many in one go.
