Pours a slightly hazed golden yellow that gets fairly hazy with sediment from the bottom. This beer reminds me of a lot of Eastern Block lagers. Smooth and slightly sweet. Seems to be a touch of booze as it warms? Still quite easy to drink and smooth. They should can this and mass market it. IMO.

12 oz bottle pours a clear light golden body with a very large white head. Generous patch lacing adorns the glass. Aroma is mostly buttered popcorn(diactyl?) with some light notes of sweet malt and spicy hops. Light body is well carbonated. Taste is well balanced and spot on for style. Light spicy hop bitterness and a sweet bread maltiness. A hint of soapiness is distracting. Drinkable but forgettable.

Straw colored, slightly hazy in the glass with a thin white head.
Floral smell of hops with a slight scent of honey lemon.
Nothing stands out in the taste other than what I believe to be honey. Hops are only slightly present as the sweetness tames the bitter.
There is a nice cleansing feature to the beer, but that is its only redeeming quality.
There isn't enough flavor for this to be very drinkable, though it might make for a decent summer beer.

Presentation: Poured form a 12 oz brown bottle into a standard pint glass. Laebl is a typical Mad Anthony, logo across the top and the name of the beer superimposed over a picture of some brewing equipment.
Appearance: Pours with 2 fingers of white foam. This settles quickly into a half inch head. leaving no lacing. The beer itself is pale yellow with plently of activity. Some fairly substantial chunks; not what I would expect from a lagered beer.
Smell: Smells of slightly sweet malt/adjuncts, with a strong aroma of herbaceous and grassy hops. Slight metallic twang.
Taste: Mild sweetness upfront with a smooth malt flavor. Adjunct flavors are present, but as a nice compliment, not overwhelming. Some hop bitterness int he finish, but nothing strong or lingering.
Mouthfeel: Carbonation level is average. Body is good.
Drinkability: While not overly impressed by the looks, this one does deliver on taste. Mild and easy drinking, a hallmark of the style. something that would be nice on a hot day.

Coloured in the neather region between straw and penny, it looks quite pleasant.
It smells like 'beer', and by that I mean good-ol'-American-honest-to-goodness-beer. That is, slight adjunct smell mixed with the faintest wiff of hops and malt.
Taste? It tastes povistively Germanic!!! Another winner from Mad Anthony. Sure, it isn't amazing, but it's a great session beer. If I wanted something more compex and sessionable, I'd go for their Amber lager, but the purity of this beer was very pleasant. Imagine PBR, but about 3x as good.
Mouthfeel: As full as the style gets. Not dopplebock thick, but not BMC lite thin. A pleasant mix, good all around. No complaints.
Drinkability: I'd take the auburn Lager over this guy anyday, but I wouldn't mind knockin' back a few with the boys either.
Another win for Mad Anthony. Great beer, good stuff.

I found this particular lager to be just so-so from our local brewery.I wasn't all that impressed by it to say the least as is evident with my rating of this beer.It poured a medium sized head and it left a good lacing on the sides of the glass. There was very, very little taste with this beer, but it did have a mild ending flavor to it.

A- Hazy gold. Almost no head and no lacing.
N- Sweet malts and some crisp floral hops. Hint of alcohol
T- very crisp with decent blend of malt and hops. Tastes a lot like a better massed produced beer.
M - light and fresh.
D- very easy/. Ifthis were mass produced would likely feature as a stable in many fridges across the country.

Attractive beer that poured with a translucent yellow hue and pure white, large head. Aroma was very lightly hopped with a faint citrus tone and nothing else detected. Taste was very light, very watery. Mouth feel was very thin, too thin to be enjoyable. Watery feel elimnated most taste and too away from the decent aroma. In fairness, pretty close to style, but just not a beer to seek out.

A nice representation of the style - smooth and clean with no off or adjunct flavors. Poured a pale gold with thin lace sheen. Slightly bready malt with a touch of apple. Polite hopping brought up the finish. Great session potential - no lawnmower beer here, I'd call it a shade sitter (try saying that fast three times).

Got this in a single bottle.
A- A hazy golden yellow color, not really any head and no lacing throughout.
S- Smelled a bit like malts, not really any hops coming through, and a bit sour.
T- This killed it for me. It really tasted like tapwater with a beer accent to it. It was sour, slightly carbonated. I couldn't taste anything specific but tapwater. I was really letdown by this one.
M- A grimy feeling left from this one. Almost mineral like consistency with the tapwater feel to this.
D- I wouldn't drink more than one of these. If it was ice cold maybe better off.
I was really upset by this beer. Mad Anthony makes some good beers, this is not one of them. If you're going to try one avoid this because it will not leave a good impression with you.

Let me just start this review by saying I've had this beer both on tap and now in bottle. There is not a whole lot of difference, imo.
Pours a cloudy yellow with decent carbonation. Thin layer of head on top of this beer throughout.
Smell is off. I detect a sour note. Not a huge fan.
Taste is slightly of malts. Bit sour.
A very bland and simple beer. I'll stick to their top only beers.

Oh my lord, what a lot of floating particles. The beer, when poured into a glass, is a cloudy pale yellow with large and small floating particles. This is not a good looking beer. The aroma is floral and sweet. There are some fruity elements, like a peach or nectarine. The taste has a touch of hops, but maintains a grainy and wheaty flavor. Absolutely a yeasty aftertaste, full of body. The mouthfeel is full and heavy. It leaves a strong impact on the palate. Middle-of-the-road.

Thanks goes out to tburkhart for this one.
Pours a cloudy golden yellow color, nice carbonation, very nice two-finger plus white foamy head, with lots of sticky lacing to follow. The nose is malty, some hops. The taste is sweet, malty, very slight hop, there is that soury note again, like the IPA. Medium body. Drinkable, this is a nice brew, but that soury note I do not like.

Pours a very nice straw color with fantastic head, good lacing, and a lot of carbonation with floaties in it. Excellent smell, crisp and clean with a nice vanilla undertone. Great taste, a great crisp malty flavor with nice butterscotch tones and a very nice hit of hops that helps to balance it. It goes down very smooth, with just a bit of roughness from the carbonation. An excellent lager.

This beer came in a bottle. After pouring this beer into a clear glass, I noticed that it had a pale medium yellowish colour with a nice amount of carbonation and a two finger that disapated quickly. Very noticable lacing seen.
You can really smell the hops!
Nice very subtle bitter/sweetness and definantly a light palate.
Undernotes slightly light in tone.... too bitter for my personal taste.
This is ok but definatly very average.
