Had this on tap at Ft. Wayne Brewpub

A- a really bright red color, with an off white head

S- It's got a nice hop smell with a smell of sweet malts. But doesn't smell great.

T- uhh, they missed here. It's just really sweet malts, and no hops, it's a poor offering.

M- light to medium bodied. decent carbonation. hard to mess this up though.

O- one hitter quitter please. They have many other offerings of which you should seek.

Had on tap in the Elkhart Pub.

A- Poured a clear deep amber color. One finger off white/light tan head. Retention is not good and head fades fast. Light streaky lacing on the sides of the glass.

S- This beer had a nice light roasted malt aroma to it. Some light caramel overtones thrown in for good measure as well. There was an interesting rye aroma in this that made me sniff my beer many times over just to be sure it was this. Light bitter piney hops in the backing hit the nose for a split second in the aroma.

T- Light roasted malts collide with a clean caramel malt flavor. The sweetness from the malts make up the middle flavor of the beer. This is where the rye comes into play and I enjoy it a lot. The rye finishes up the beer but with a slight bitter hop bite in the backing of it.

M- Medium mouthfeel. Carbonation was good for the style. Caramel toasted malts left on the palate with a distinct rye flavor left in the aftertaste. Clean flavors and it blended altogether very well. Light drying on the palate from the alcohol.

D- This beer was a one and done for me. It was warm outside and this beer just didn't cut it. Another example of Mad Anthony trying to break out of their slump for making average beers at that. I raise my next glass to you Mad Anthony.

On tap at Tomlinson Tap Room. Poured a nice bright copper red with some decent head and lacing. Nice deep and bright, sweet malty aroma with a good fizzy zing. Very nice flavor, with a nice bright tanginess, along with a great sweetness and caramel/toffee undertone. It goes down very, very smoothy and has a great Irish red tartness. Excellent beer.
