This store is located in an area where you would only expect to find Budweiser; I was surprised to walk in and see craft beer in this place. They dont have an excellent selection, but they seem to be focusing on craft beers here. The craft beers are up-front and the macros are in the back cooler. There is a decent selection of local and regional craft beers plus a few Belgians. You wont leave disappointed or empty handed, but you wont find the hard to get stuff here.

The service was friendly. The owner told me all about the beers he carried. He listened and was open to my input. This dude seems to take pride in what hes trying to do here
(too bad theres no A for effort).

Overall this is a nice little store thats trying to bring craft beers into a Bud town. It will be interesting to see what this store is doing in a year.

Out in Lorain County craft brews are hard to come by if someone is talking anything beyond the area standard of GLBC's Dortmunder Gold, Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale or Sam's, but the Party Shop does a good job of carrying beers from these three breweries that are further off the path beaten by the Giant Eagles of the world. Abita products, Samuel Smith's, Chimay, the full variety of bottled Great Lakes beers, the seasonal Sam's, and a number of other hard to find - for this area at least, which brings up their selection score - products can be found in the cooler. They are also always getting different beers in all the time.

The service is always helpful - teetering near excellent - with both finding beers that you will like, and also picking out a bottle of wine for either you or your girlfriend who may or may not get your desire to keep trying beers.
