A - Poured in to a snifter, somewhat cloudy with a frothy, tan, head of thick, long lasting foam. It left soapy, sudsy sheets of lace on the glass.
S - It smelled of dried fruits - apple and pear - with an earthy/yeasty quality. Some nice caramel aromas, too.
T - This was good. Roasty malt with caramel, dried fruit (green apple really came through) and just enough spicy yeasty to balance the brew out.
M - It was crisp and sharp with a smooth, dry finish. A medium-bodied ale that hid its ABV well.
D - Simply delicious. Another knock it out of the park, homerun from Fitger's.
