The beer poured crystal clear at first and then sediment loosened from the bottom and made it slightly cloudy. The head was frothy and yellow and lasted like a champ to lace the glass...err...mug.
The aroma was floral and grassy with notable American hops, a very nice frutiness and a good malt backbone behind it all.
The flavor was hoppy and grassy with a well done malt sweetness and fruitiness that was well achieved.
The finish was resinous with grass and grapefruit lasting pleasantly into the aftertaste. The body was medium and could have been just a smidge more.
12 ounce bottle purchased at Crown Liquors on Rockville in Indy and consumed across the street at the Wingate, opened using a door latch and poured into a coffee mug. For a man needing an IPA fix in a pinch, this one sure hit the spot.
