Appearance: This beer pours a rich honey brown with golden highlights a pure white thin head.
Smell: A slight citrus aroma greets you when smell this beer followed by notes of fresh cut grass a lightly toasted bread.
Taste: There is a definite sweet honey flavor that compliments the grassy grapefruit notes well. Along with these flavors is a wonderful chewy white bread character and just the slightly pleasant hint of alcohol. There is a distinct lingering bitterness, but this is not out of character for the style.
Mouthfeel: The beer has a medium mouthfeel, but a slightly higher level of carbonation which creates the illusion of it being a light bodied beer.
Drinkability: This beer is very drinkable for an IPA. It has decent body, but the slightly higher carbonation and not overly intense flavors make it nice for taking large drinks.
OVERALL IMPRESSION: This beer does not blow you away like some more bold American IPA's. That being said, it is well balanced with a nice hop character and good bready sweetness. Don't drink this beer looking for a hop bomb and you won't be disappointed.
