A - Pours light copper brown with a small pillow of head. Very little lacing left on the glass.

S - Roasted nuts are the predominant smell here. Little else discernable in the nose. Kinda disappointing.

T - Strong flavor or roasted nuts, orange peel and slight caramel like sweetness

M - Probably the best feature of this beer, very bubbly, almost champagne like dryness.

O - Decent beer, not my favorite. Not Horrible. Won't go out of my way to get more, but worth trying. So far the biggest disappointment from Upland that I've had.

Clead reddy-brown in color, with some light tan head. Decent lacing. Aroma is of caramel and hazelnut nuttiness. Taste is caramel and the same nuttiness. Extremely high carbonation for a brown. Slightly watery too. I hate this 250 character minimum!!!!

12 ounce bottle, bottled in April 2011. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a reddish/brown color with an inch light tan head. The head doesn't stay around long, but there's a decent amount of lacing left on the glass. Aroma is mostly sweet, the brew smells like caramel, nuts, toffee, bready malt and a bit of herbal hops. The taste is a little more bitter than I thought it would be. It tastes like nuts, caramel, herbal/leafy hops, and bready malt. Mouthfeel/body is medium, and it's well carbonated. I think it's a decent enough brew, and I'd like to try a fresher bottle of this in the future.

Thanks to Exiled for sharing this bottle.

The beer pours a light brown color with a white head. The aroma is toffee with some nutty brown ale notes. The flavor is nuts, toffee, tea and some earthy and dirt-like hops. Thin to medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
