Was pleasantly surprised with how well i liked this one. The color was a dark-gold color with a nice head on it. Had low expectations for this beer initially, but I definitely would've gone for another pint at least. Wonderful blend of malt and hops...great balance overall.

On-tap at Upland, Bloomington (Saturday April 2nd). Poured a very decent mid-copper color, with just a bit of nice initial head, and not a lot of lacing to speak of. Nice clean scent, with good two-row sweetness and a nice bit of tiny hop hit (citrusy) in the aroma. Nice flavor, good clean and sweet malt behind a decently semi-citrus hop taste; had a bit of spiciness and Belgian sourness/funk in there, but not much (hardly enough to call it a Belgian pale ale). Goes down smooth, and it's a decent beer overall, but Upland has so many better brews.

On tap at the brewpub with Amyliz4. Used to be a frequent stop of ours. Pours a nice light golden color with a tiny bit of haze. The nose brings in some light floral hops along with a bit of citrus and some light grain. Taste is citrus and flowers with some underlying grain and straw. Nice, light mouthfeel with good carbonation. Goes down well and is one of the better non-lambic offerings that I've had from them.

Sampled today at the brewpub.
Apple juice color and flavor, somewhat bready. A little bit of spindly lacing in the glass. Light bodied with a lower level of carbonation. Mild sweetness compared to the regular pale ale. It was easy enough to finish a half-pour, but likely not one that I would revisit.
