A - Dark brown, looks like motor oil coming out of the tap, but some light passes through. Creamy dark tan head with little retention due to high ABV with some slight lacing.
S - Roasted malts, dark fruits, vanilla, some coffee and chocolate toward the end.
T - A bit of chocolate, then dark fruits and some char. Really gets hot at is warms up.
M - Kind of thin for a Russian Imperial Stout.
O - Not my favorite Russian Imperial Stout. It always seems to be missing something, maybe a spice component to combat the cocoa nibs and burnt malt.

Still one of my favorite Russian imperial stouts to this day. Pours a pitch black with a solid tan head and nice clinging lacing on the glass. Chocolate and coffee on the nose with deeply roasted grains. Thick coating mouthfeel with dark chocolate and heavily roasted coffee, a hint of vanilla, and a fantastic background of cocoa that is not grainy. Lots of deeply roasted malt flavor that comes through in waves. An imperial stout lovers dream. Better on tap, but the bottle is still very nice. Cheers!
