Finally got to stop in here while I was picking up my lambics. Seems like a nice, clean, new place. Was able to park right in front on the street. Very friendly, accommodating staff. Glass window behind the bar so you could see the brewery operations. Good menu with well priced food.
They had a Double IPA on tap while I was there and that was the saving grace. I've had most of all their beers at some point, and to be honest haven't been too impressed. However, this DIPA changed it all. It was very good. They need to get inspired by that and carry it over to their other beers.

A-I grew up in the area and have always loved this place. Inside is nice but can get a bit noisy during busy times. The outdoor seating is a great option and has been expanded in recent years.
Q-The beer is good but not as aggressive as many craft brewers are going. I find that the bigger and more limited they go, the more I like the beer. Their year rounds are well made, enjoyable beers but the craft scene has skewed my palate so far to the hops that I generally look for more. I understand that they have some new releases coming out that I look forward to as well.
S-This is tough. It varies so much by the server. I've batted 50/50 here. Sometimes service is top-notch but others I've had some of the worst service ever. I hope they work this glitch out in their hiring process because it really makes them look bad.
S-There are generally 5-8 beers on tap. I find it alternates between my wanting EVERY beer on the list and my wanting only one of them. I think more taps and rotating specialty beers would be appreciated.
F-Oh boy. This is the only brewery (except for Revolution in Chicago) that I've ever gone to for the food. I'm not a french fry guy, but Upland makes them the best and they're always perfect! If you can't make a crispy fry, close your kitchen (other guys). Thanks, Upland! Other than that, I tend to get burgers and assorted pub grub. Entrees cost more but they always look good. The nachos aren't to my liking (melted shredded cheese) but everything else is always phenomenal!
V-Beer is reasonably priced, especially carryout bombers (compared to store prices). Food is sometimes, in recent years only, a dollar or two more than I think it should be but is worth it.
O-I always go when I'm back home. Love this place and feel bad if my review brings down their score. Always a favorite for me even if the numbers don't show it.
