Hazed apricot orange tone. Nice looking off-white head. Lacing is spotty in nature but ample. The aroma is heavy on the hops. Earthy and pungent at the same time. Grassy and herbal. And the nose also contains sufficient malt tones to it. The beer feels great in the mouth. Medium-full body and a nice little prickle to it. The bitterness of this IPA is quite clean and nice. Not over the top, but it's fucking there. Hops impart some grassiness and herbal qualities. The malts are dripping in caramel and toffee sweetness. And I think it's the yeast that's giving some fruity tones of nectarine/apricot-like origin. Another damn fine brew from the Hall. What can I say. I'm lucky to live close to such a consistent high quality brewery/brewer.

A: Poured a golden-orangish color with a white whispy leaving behind some moderate lacing, faint bubbles..
S: Herbal, bready with some floral notes
T: Initial taste is a bit herbal with floral hop notes riding on the back of a bready malt base. A little bit of lingering bitterness on this but mainly on the back end/finish.
M: Low-medium bodied, well carbonated
O: Traditionally not a fan of the style but if I were to drink a modern day English IPA it would be this one. Very good.
Serving type: growler
