Big thanks to brian23456 for sending this growler my way. Shared with Bryna and Sean, and served in my Half Acre pint glass. Growler is dated 1-13, but I've known these Town Hall growlers to hold up pretty well.
A - A couple fingers of white creamy foam. Good retention, and lots of spotty lacing that isn't quite glass-coating. The body is a slightly drab hazy golden orange-yellow, that gets murkier the further I get into the growler. By the end there are some interesting chunks - this is definitely unfiltered. I wish the color "popped" a little more. I suspect if I had a fresh pour on-tap I would have scored this a bit higher.
S - Smells like a hoppy pale ale, which should come as no surprise. A bit of citrus rind, pine and floral notes, tropical fruits, and the faintest touch of soapy Cascade hops. The hop profile definitely exemplifies the "kitchen-sink" nature of a grog - I'm guessing there's some Simcoe, Warrior, and Chinook hops in play in addition to the aforementioned Cascade. The malt backbone is some toffee and sugar cookie, but it's well into the periphery. The nose is a little understated, which is a change of pace for Town Hall.
T - Like a good pale ale, it starts balanced, but picks up some moderate bitterness about a half-pint in without ever crossing into extreme territory. Well-balanced flavor, with a lot of the aforementioned hop flavors integrated into a slightly hard-to-define malt character. I'm wondering if that's the malted oats peeking through.
M - Dry finish, some light residual resins, smooth medium body. The oats contribute on a textural level. Active tingly carbonation that's not overly harsh.
D - This was super easy to drink. I could easily have killed the growler on my own. A well-made session beer - somewhere in the middle of MTH's output, but well worth trying if it pops up on-tap again.

Pint from a cask at town hall tap
After the beer settles down a bit it is clear with an amber color with a lot of orange hues. A tight cask film reminiscent of the thickness of an Irish stout with similar stickiness to the glass.
Big hop aromas-west coast APA style with citrus (orange and grapefruit) with a bit of evergreen resin. Bready, sweet malt. Taste is hop forward and like the aroma with a bit more of the resiny hop coming out in the finish. Malt is clean and carries the hops nicely while certainly taking a back seat to the hops.
The cask gives this beer a real creamy mouthfeel by cutting down on the carbonation.
Overall a really easy drinking, hoppy while not being overwhelming, pale ale. Recommended on cask.

Growler shared by drabmuh. Dude, you rock!
The beer is light golden hued and pretty clear, sporting a small white head that leaves a bit of lacing on the glass. The aroma is fresh and inviting. Hops all the way. Floral notes and citrus. A delicious beer, and refreshing. On the lighter side, and at a mere 5.4%, one could easily go through a few pints of this. Good stuff!
