On tap. White head with lace. Clear golden color.
Light, but nice amount of flavor. Biscuit and toasted crackers. Grassy, zesty, floral hops. Touch of citrus. Great offering and loving the low abv.

On-tap at the brew-pub - review from notes
This was just okay, pretty standard kolsch, the highlight is the wet style hops, very fresh and dank tasting.

On tap at the brewpub. Served in a standard shaker glass.
Appearance: Color is a clear pale yellowish golden orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. About two fingers of white head that slowly fade into a thin patchy layer. Leaves a lot of lace.
Smell: A bready biscuity malt forward aroma with some nice hints of earthy hops. Malts upfront with a pilsner malt scent along with hints of beady biscuit, wheat grains, cracker, straw, yeast, and a slight caramel hint. A little honey like sweetness. Solid presence of floral, spicy, and earthy Noble hops along with some hints of citrus lemon and orange. A very crisp and good smelling brew.
Taste: Follows the nose with a solid taste of bready biscuit malts with a solid presence of floral hops and citrus. Pale and pilsner malts with notes of bready biscuit, cracker, wheat grains, straw, yeast, and a little caramel. Some sweet honey in the mix. Floral and earthy hops giving a spicy and fairly grassy taste. Notes of citrus lemon and orange. A well balanced and tasty German style Kolsch taste.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Very crisp and smooth. Sweet but finishes somewhat dry.
Overall: A pretty solid take on the Kolsch style. Good use of malt and noble hops.

had outside on a beautiful Saturday late summer afternoon the beer was on tap and it came in a pint glass with a great head and just enough lacing it was medium in color but it had an assertive hop/malt character with a sweet ending that was dry ,,this was just another great tap/seasonal that i lucked into having while at MTHB..i followed by a delicious marsala mama..im so glad MTHB is in my backyard... another solid tap from the hall

Had this on tap before, and during the brewery tour this past weekend.
Poured into a standard pint glass, this is golden copper in color. Looks similar to other Kolsch's I've had as well as a typical macro. White head with ok retention but not much lacing.
The nose is light, and slightly sweet. I get sweet malt with a honey like character. Ever so lightly hopped to round out a pretty good smelling beer.
The taste just amplifies the nose. Sweet malts with a little roasted character, earthy hops with a light bitterness as well as honey and caramel.
Light mouthfeel with a nice carbonation bite. Great drinkability.
Overall, a solid offering from Town Hall. Even my girlfriend, a non craft beer drinker, enjoyed this one. A nice refreshing and crisp summer brew that I will undoubtedly enjoy again.
