Pours a crystal clear brownish-red with a decent sized whitish head that falls quickly. The head leaves a thin ring around the glass that lasts the entire way down; bits of broken-window lacing stick to the edges of the glass along the way.
The nose is sweet and tart, sort of a caramel, toffee and apple and the tongue doesn't differ much. There is a little bit of a hoppy bitterness buried beneath the sweet brown sugar base.
I'd call this slightly-heavier-than-medium bodied with a decent amount of carbonation lightening the mouthfeel. All-in-all, this beer is dangerously drinkable and all about balance with its sweet yet bitter flavor and its heavy yet carbonated mouthfeel. I certainly wish this were a regular at TH. If that were the case, this would most likely be my go-to beer.

This beer arrives a clear reddish copper color. The head is an inch in height, and recedes quickly into minimal lacing. The aroma is of toffee, light caramel, and fruity hops. The taste is well balanced with nice toffee and fruity hoppy tones. There is a noticeable bitterness in the sip that dissipates quickly in the finish leaving the palate nicely refreshed. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a smooth texture, and lively carbonation. Overall, this is a fine ESB that I would surely drink again.

Pours a caramel color with an okay head that leaves some nice lacing. Nose is floral hops with with a bit of bubblegum and some grain malts. Taste is citrus up front that moves to some caramel and grain malts. Ends with a nice floral hop kick. Mouth is full and smooth. Drinkability is solid with this one. Not a hop bomb, but very pleasantly bitter.

town hall esb. clear, bronze color, nice, big, creamy-toned head, lace-leaving, and lovely.
Aroma: earthy, fruity, some apple, berry, melon. A bit of sweetness meets a mix of bitter hops.
Taste: fruity, creamy, and mild. Little hop bitterness in the flavor. Soft, sweet, tasty. Easy drinking. I said tasty, right? Not too much happening, but that's the point, the aim, or the journey, here. It's all about drinking, and deliciousness. This one scores on all counts.

Dark golden color with a two finger white head and lovely rings of lacing. Balance is a key descriptor of this beer in all aspects. The nose is malty sweet with a touch of citrus and grassy hops, with light booze in the background. Super-balanced taste. Lightly toasted, sweet, bready malts, with a nice balance between the lightly citrus/juicy hops and the herbal Euro varieties. Excellent balance between sweet and bitter, with neither flavor coming off too strongly. This is a very good, and while I hate to use the word again, it's about as well-balanced as an ESB can be.
