On tap at TH, Was saddened when I found out he emptied the keg with my glass half full, nice free beer though

A - Brownish red, slightly transparent, slight lacing

S - Strong coconut up front, slightly malty, and more coconut on the finish

T - Wow! Coconut brown could not describe this beer better, it tastes exactly like it sounds. Beautiful mixture of malt and coconut flavors, maybe a little chocolate in there too

M - Very smooth all the way through

O - Outstanding beer, was so disappointed I couldn't have another.

had on tap @ TH

A-pours a mostly clear copper color with a touch of red a very thin head reveals some lacing

S- was tropical coconut very fresh some malts and caramel

T-fresh tropical coconut mixed with some vanilla beana little sweet creamy chocolate with some caramel malts

M- was a delight of fresh coconut but it never overwhelmed it just was... and was delicious

D- way drinkable you just wanted another sip..

Caramel brown color with a thin tan head that shrinks down to nil and leaves no lace.

Some cocoa with a big dose of sweet coconut.

Toasted coconut and there is lots of it! Milk chocolate and caramel with a fairly high amount of sweetness. No question the coconut is the star and I am loving it.

Medium bodied and mostly smooth.

I could have several of these. Town Hall knows how to do coconut in beer and it's just outstanding. This really reminds me of a lighter version of Three Hour Tour. Just a great beer.

Had this on tap at TH. Pours a light layer of fairly white head. Color is a clear light mahogany brown.

Aroma: Coconuts!!! Cocoa, chocolate, caramel, and malts. It is fairly sweet. I really cannot believe this is a brown ale. It has so much more flavor than any brown ale I have had.

Taste: More coconuts! Cocoa and chocolate again. Reminds me of 3 Hour Tours little brother. It has the mounds bar flavor, but not as strong as the 3ht. It has some nut flavors as well. Still, awesome for a brown ale. Very malty.

Mouthfeel: Smooth and creamy. A bit sweet. Medium bodied with a medium amount of carbonation. Ends clean. A bit dry.

Overall, this was one of the best brown ales I have ever had. It was a little sweet compared to most brown ales, but I didn't mind. I did dock the drinkability a bit because I couldn't drink a lot of this. A very awesome beer. Glad I had this one.

Draft. Poured into a pint glass a clear, light brown reddish color with a light tan 1 finger head that is quick to settle out. Coconut dominates he nose on this one with a sweet chocolate aroma as well. The taste is pretty sweet upfront with the coconut and chocolate, a slight bitterness in the backend. Having had Three Hour Tour before, this one is like a less heavy, lighter waterdown version of that. Pretty tasty. Wish it had better head retention. Medium mouhfeel.

This beer is no joke.

A- A small head atop a brown beer. Above average head retention, some lacing.

S- Saaaweeet coconut, almost artifical but no. Awesome. Bangtown baby.

T- Rock and roll. Coconut. I don't want to say its one dimensional because that would be an injustice. If any beer fan write it off as such, try again. Hints of vanilla. Smooth, easy drinking. Woooow.

M- Perfect carbonation. Feels great.

D/O- I have nothing bad to day about this one. The only complain I can think of someone having is if they didn't like coconut. This might have stole the show on the trip to get Masala Mama IPA from 7 hours away. Wow. Try this and get me more if possible.

Just picked up a growler of this over lunch. Had to try this beer before they ran out. Drank from my Surly nonic pint glass.

Appearance- Pours a fairly clear brown with hints of ruby and a small quarter finger sandy tan head. The head dissipates fairly quickly (assuming from the coconut oils) leaving no cap and a super thin collar.
Smell- The coconut is by far and away the first thing I smell. It's pretty rich smelling with a nutty bite and hints of vanilla. Maybe just a touch of chocolate but it's really light and earthy. That's about it.
Taste- A lot like the nose as the coconut is the first thing you taste but it isn't as dominate as the aroma. The beer is very nutty in the sense of actual nuts (rather than coconut) too. Think toasted pecans and macadamia nuts. The chocolate is a bit more noticeable in the taste than the smell as either the cocoa nibs or Belgium dark chocolate adds a sort of dark bakers chocolate thing. The finish is surprising bitter as a hop bite actually makes its way in. It's lightly citric in tone and sort of lingers on.
Mouthfeel- Surprisingly 'hefty' body with a medium feel, light carbonation and a somewhat creamy, oily feel.
Drinkability- Really tasty beer that confuses the shit out of me. I have no idea how they get that much coconut goodness into a beer. Like 3 Hour Tour the beer suffers just slightly in the drinkability category but it's so freaking good it's okay. Another coconut winner!
