Had this a few weeks ago but didn't get to review. I really liked it though and lucked out it was still on. Drank from a generic snifter.
Appearance- Pours a dark ruby red with a small bright white head that fizzles away fairly quickly. Not much in the way of a cap remains but a thin collar manages to leave zero lacing.
Smell- A fairly bright and fruity cherry nose that really is more intense than expected. I don't get anything from the Scotch Ale as the cherry truly dominates.
Taste- The first sip is sort of copperish and dry as a light bit of the malt peeks through. The cherry quickly takes over though as the fruit is intense and really nice. Not sweet in the least as the finish gets lightly earthy but the cherry still shines.
Mouthful- Light and airy as the body is sorta watery but the carbonation is crisp and nice.
Drinkability- The beer is very "one dimensional" but since that dimension is cherry, I'm good with that. Has a very New Glarus Belgium Cherry feel; yes, that much cherry. Enjoyable to say the least.

Draft. Poured into a tulip style glass a murky reddish brown mahogany color with a frothy tan head. The aroma is straight cherry pie filling albeit pretty muted. Medium mouthfeel. Sweet cherry upfront with some peat smoke and slight bitterness. Very drinkable. Nice lace left in the glass. I'd call this one more or a fruit beer than a Scotch Ale as the flavors of Hope and King are pretty much dominated by the cherry aroma and taste.
