I really enjoyed the Pacifica beer from Town Hall. Single hop pale ale, using pacifica hops from New Zealand. Certainly gave the beer a taste and scent that is unlike typical american hoppy pale ales. The color was a decent clear copper color. With white head that laced. The smell included floral and citrus combination...that the bar described as "juicy fruit". The taste was nice, light, and crisp. Definite presence of hops which provided light citrus taste with almost a lemon grassy zeal. The mouthfeel was NICE and this could be sessioned. Must try.

Towne Hall growler? Yes please. Received recently in a BIF, shared at a recent tasting with a few other people.

Beer is hazy, amber with a soft white head, moderate to low carbonation, some lacing, decent retention.

Aroma is piny with mild fruit character and a little malt backbone. Interesting.

Beer is light to medium in body, creamy on the palate, interesting overall. Moderately bitter, hop character is there, a mix between a piny and sort of fruitiness. I like it but I've had better beers from them in the past. I drank a lot of this beer but I don't think I"ll go out of my way to get more.

Thanks to drabmuh for bringing this growler over a few weeks back. Served in a Town Hall pint glass. Reviewed from notes.

Pours a nice golden-apricot with a good white head and a nice dose of lacing on the way down. The nose carried good orange and citrus notes with a light amount of tropical fruits lingering in the background. Slight bready malt edge. The flavor was similar with some malt and mild hop character. Light body with a good bitterness and a nice drynes to the finish. Quite good, but not to the level of other Town Hall hoppy brews.

Pours a half finger of beige head. Decent retention. Color is a very clear golden orange.

Aroma: Very citrusy. Orange and grapefruit. The hops are very juicy. No malts showing. Much like town hall's other pale ales.

Taste: This tastes much like an ipa. Very hoppy. No malts showing. Very citrusy. Lemon, grapefruit, and oranges. West coast style. Floral hops.

Mouthfeel: Bitter, sticky, hop resiny. Medium bodied with a medium amount of carbonation. Ends sticky but clean.

Overall, this beer is awesome. I could drink a lot of this. Great flavors all around. Awesome single hop pale ale offering.

10 oz pour on tap into a snifter.

A- Pours a one finger off white frothy head, clear burnt orange color, well carbonated, nice lacing and retention.
S- Really nice hoppy aroma, fruity, peaches, grapefruit, citrus, slight pine aroma, nice malt backbone.
T- Big floral notes, grassy hopes, citrus, peach, mango, earthy notes, malt backbone to balance the hops, really nice.
M- Medium mouth feel, smooth drinking, clean finish.
O- Another good beer from Town Hall, Solid pale ale, more like an IPA, refreshing, fruity and delicious.

On Tap at Minneapolis Town Hall Brewery. This beer arrives a clear copper color. The head is a half inch of white foam that recedes slowly leaving nice lacing. The aroma is very fruity with a lot of oranges, some passion fruit and a hint of grass. The taste is similar to the aroma with a very mild bitterness for an APA. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a lively carbonation, and a smooth texture. Overall, this is a nice light APA that I would happily drink again.

Pours a great pale amber color with a medium size tan head.

The smell is of light malts and juicy fruity hops, almost like fruit snacks.

Taste is like the smell with the citrusy fruitiness, but is also followed up by a pleasant bitterness. Not much malt present here, definitely showcasing the hops.

Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with medium high carbonation, very good.

Overall a great beer, I wish I could remember the name of the single hop they used, I only remember it is from New Zealand and delicious.

Poured into a pint glass from the tap.

Light copper in color. Solid fingers worth of off white head. Lacing is nill. Smell is citrus and light hop. Drinks rather easy. Taste is hop and citrus. The smell was far better than the taste. It was rather average on my palate.

A pretty ho hum offering. I wasn't expecting to blow my doors off, but it left me looking into my glass for something else. The boring factor basically cancelled my next order of it.
