This beer arrives a clear ruby red color. Th he head is one inch of solid off white foam that recedes slowly leaving sticky lacing along the sides of the glass. The aroma is very fruity with a ton of cherry and grapefruit, and some nice pine in the background. The taste has a similar fruitiness with a nice firm bitterness jn the finish. There is also a pleasant mild earthiness in the background that adds depth to the flavor. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation, and a velvety texture. Overall, this is a really good beer that I will be certain to order again.

What an awesome beer this is...wish some place would make a beer like this their basic pale ale but perhaps the cost of the hops, etc is too much to do that. I eagerly anticipated this and saved it for Christmas Day and it meets and exceeds my high expectations.

A-Brunt orange colored....big frothy white head...

S-As good of a citrus aroma as you will find...fresh squezed oranges, and tangerines are big...also has some strong floral/weedy notes as well.

T-Perfect base malt...never jumps out but if I strain i get a little toffeish malt note....the hops lean more toward the weed/floral notes on the taste....a bit catty but good...grapefruit now becomes much more prevalent as well ...

M-Perfect body and feel....slightly dry on the finish.

O-Heck of a pale ale....Thanks to Big Hugey for securing this dandy for me and congrats to me for not drinking it sooner.

Clear copper body. Thin but creamy off white head. Droopy lacing is quite full. Aroma is fantastic. Tropical fruits galore...pineapple, clementine, tangerine... all on top of a nice bed of caramel malt. Flavor is outstanding as well. Nice to see a beer featuring the Nelson Sauvin hop, one of my personal favorites, in the hands of mastercraftsman Mike Hoops. A virtual coctail of weed/canabis, tangerine/pineapple and oily/pungent hop resin. Bitterness is perfectly jagged. Leaves a dryness that beckons you for more. Orange-marmalade like malt base with a very slight sweetness. This is top-of-the-line. Great beer for a tribute to a great bartender. Good luck Andy.
