Pours a tan head. Color is dark brown.
Aroma: roasted and sweet. Some rye favors and spice. Bananas and cloves. Very hefe like. Some dark fruits and molasses. Very nice.
Taste: bananas, cloves, dark fruits, and a lot of malts. Dry spice. Tons of wheat. Very Belgian like.
Mouthfeel: dry but smooth. Medium bodies with a good amount of carbonation. Ends sweet and sticky.
Overall, a good American take on a Belgian beer. Very flavorful and complex. I like this one.

Poured on-tap at Town Hall Brewery
A. Pours a dark black with a creamy mocha head that is about 1mm thick. Retains that head throughout the frinking
S. Smells deep of chocolate, bready, slight cherries and fruit
T. Tastes of tart cherries, bread and heavy yeast, with a slight hint of dark chocolate to round it out.
M. Medium-thin body, coarse feeling all the way through, very wet finish, with a lingering tingle on the tongue.
O. A good beer. Well bodied for the style, easy to drink, a go-to beer with a lot of flavor that doesn't result in a "heavy feeling" after drinking.

Got this growler from biglobo in the secret santa BIF. Pours with a bit of kakhi head. Aroma is mild dark fruit and mild clovey spice. Very nice. Flavor is a bit light, but very similar to the aroma. Very nice plum and other darker fruit with a bit of spice and a mild appleish flavor which adds rather than detracts from the whole. Light mouthfeel with good carbonation. Overall, this is a damn fine beer. One of the few very well made american dubbles I have come accross.
