Thanks to jerz/vacax for sharing this one at GRG1313's tasting.
Pours a hazy reddish-orange with a foamy beige head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, brown sugar, cherries, and alcohol. Taste is much the same with a slightly sour flavor and an alcohol kick on the finish. There is a mild amount of woody bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer but the sourness in the flavor is unexpected.

2014 version aged in Woodford Reserve barrels. I had last years version at winterfest and it blew me away. This years has less cherry notes and a bit more whiskey character.
Nose is reminiscent of a manhattan. Whiskey and cherries dominate. Taste is slightly sweet with a dry slightly astringent finish. Vapory booze throughout. I don't know how strong this is but it should be over 10%. Mouthfeel is rather thin but nice. Warming. Not as tasty as I remember it but still a tasty barrel aged brew.

2014 version aged in Woodford Reserve barrels. On tap at the brewpub. Served in a Town Hall chalice glass.
Appearance: Color is a very hazy brownish orange. Moderate amount of bubbles. About two fingers of off white head which slowly fade. Good amount of lacing.
Smell: A nicely boozy and sweet malt driven aroma with big hints of bourbon, cherries, and dark fruit. Upfront bourbon barrel presence with hints of bourbon whiskey, oak, vanilla, and wood. Big tart scent of the added cherries throughout. Belgian yeast with some hints of pepper and slight clove. Dark malt with hints of sweet caramel, toffee, slight chocolate, toast, biscuit, and grains. Sweet hints of brown sugar. Dark fruit hints of raisin, fig, and prune. A very good aroma.
Taste: As big and complex as it smells, a sweet and boozy malt forward aroma with a big presence of bourbon and cherries. Upfront barrel presence with notes of bourbon whiskey, oak, wood, and vanilla. Big taste of sweet and tart cherries. Belgian yeast with some light notes of clove and pepper. Brown sugar sweetness. Dark malt with notes of sweet caramel, chocolate, toffee, biscuit, toast, and grains. Dark fruit undertones of fig, raisin, and prune. Very forward with the bourbon and cherries. A very good taste.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Fairly chewy and tart. Alcohol presence is felt as expected but it isn't too hot.
Overall: A very good barrel aged twist on their Grand Cru. The bourbon and cherry flavors blend very well with each other.
