Pours a clear copper color with a small head that settles to a thin cap. Moderate amount of lacing is left down the glass. I find the aroma particularly pleasing with tropical fruit and pine resin. The flavor is hop dominated and tastes more like an IPA. Bitterness is high and the malt does not make much of a dent with sweetness or flavor. What flavor is detected is the awesome hops. Tropical fruit and some dankness. Medium body and nicely carbonated. Smooth texture and pleasant feel despite the heavy bitterness.

A beer that features the hops nicely.

Beige head. Color is an amber copper. Lots of lace.

Flavor profile is more ipa than amber. Lets call it a hoppy amber. Grapefruit and orange citrus. Bready malts. Floral hops. Very resiny.

Mouthfeel: sticky. Medium bodied.

Overall, a really enjoyable 'amber'. Very hopped up. Easy to drink. I'd have more.

This beer arrives a clear deep amber color. The head is a half inch of white foam that recedes slowly into minimal lacing. The aroma is of grapefruit, passion fruit, stone fruit, and caramel. The taste is similar to the aroma with the addition of a bitterness that although not sharp still masks a lot of the malt. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation and a velvety texture. Overall, this is s nice hoppy amber ale that I would surely drink again.
