I am in the Outer Banks on vacation with the family, and this place was a short bike ride from the beach house.

Located at mile post marker 12.5 in the Kitty Hawk Kites plaza, it was reasonably easy to find.

I was the only one in the store, and the shop clerk was on the phone until I was ready to check out. Not uber friendly, but not very receptive until I engaged him at the cash register.

Very small selection of beer. If it weren't for vacation, I probably would consider submitting this establishment. The wine selection was not that great either.
Too many other tchotkes for sale like OBX t-shirts, and baby gear.

Limited selection of Belgian style. Only a few bottles of each. They did have the Duchess, Three Philosphers, Delerium Tremens and Unibroue on display.

Local finds were Duck-Rabbit brewery, and the Highland Brewing Company.

Regional beers inlcuded a couple DFH, and Brooklyn brewing products. No BMC here which was a plus.

They sell a 9.99 six pack which was mix and match. I finally grabbed up some Bell's products and got to try the two hearted ale, and Oberon.

I will return here while on vacation until I find something better. A nice place to visit, but like others mentioned, I wouldn't search this place out if you are more then 3 miles away.

EDIT: Stopped back in at 8:30 pm later in the week after sunset at Jockey's ridge. Thought I could grab a mixed sixer but the shop doors were locked. The hours were posted that they were open until 9:00pm. The clerk was on the phone and just shrugged his shoulders when I pointed to the time.
Who needs service like that? I'll take my tourist dollars elsewhere, thank you very much!

I hit this place up while my daughter was getting one of those hair wraps done next door. Small store of mostly wine and some other touristy gifts. Small beer selection in the back, right corner of the store. I picked up some Bell's Two Hearted, Azalea Coast bombers (literally bombs!), and some Duck-Rabbit. This place will do in a pinch. Much more focused on wine. There were two customers at the counter trying wines and the clerk and was too busy with them to worry much about me. I guess I wasn't as sophisticated. The best part was no BMC products in sight. Some Belgians, locals, and DFH, Avery, Bell's. The guy did mention that the main store in Point Harbor had more of a selection. Maybe I will stop in there on my way into town next time.

I stopped here during a weekend visit to Nags Head after spotting this place on the BeerFly. I will always enjoy and respect any store that holds a place for craft beer and this is definitely one-- no "bad" beers here. The selection is a bit small, but what they have is nice, especially in a place where people guzzle cheap beer as fast as possible. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and all selections are reasonable priced, especially for the touristy location. There is also a nice selection of glassware to choose from for 3.99 each and you can mix your own 6-pack for 9.99-- although the selection here is rather limited, unless you are visiting from another state and can't find some beers in your area.

Definitely worth swinging in, but I would not go out of my way for a visit.

Not too bad to find, but if you were not looking for it, you would certainly pass it by as you traveled down the road.

The quality seemed very, very high and the person working was very friendly and helpful. The selection was 100% craft, but was severely lacking in substance and in quantity. A weekend at the beach with friends would wipe out everything they had in stock. The prices were good, on some things better than most stores.

I'd only go back if in the area, nothing here to go out of my way to obtain.
