This brewpub is located in downtown Corning. The street looks like a typical college town commons, but with that old time feel; a real class act. The pub is located in the same type of building. The brewery is visible as you enter the building as well as the bar. As you walk past the bar you enter into a nice little dining area that is open and surrounded by wall murels and good time music. You can also eat and drink outdoors. There is a deck outside that is available almost all year round. In the winter it is enclosed with heavy clear plastic;very cool. The service was good; a really cool place for college students to work. The food was also good. The menu contained a large list of appetizers along with meal items. The beer selection was your typical brewpub lineup with a few house specialties. All in all a place worth visiting again.

stopped by here on a Friday afternoon after visiting the Corning Glass Museum, for a lunch and beers with friends.
Atmosphere is nice, with a storefront on the main drag in town (Market Street), they've got some outdoor seating in addition to bar and dining tables inside.
They only had 6 beers on tap. They were out of their IPA, so they had Sam Adams Rebel IPA as a "guest tap" to fill the spot. So 5 of their own beers - A dark mild, red ale, lager, fruit lager, and wheat beer. I had pints of the dark mild and red ales. Decent, but nothing spectacular.
Our waiter was friendly, good service, and split the bill for us. Beer was cheap at $3.50 a pint.
Food was pretty tasty - I had the Pork sandwich which was quite good.

Popped in here while touring the Finger Lakes brewery area. This was a huge disappointment.. Beer Advocate gave a high rating. Every beer had a skunk flavor. Was hugely disappointed by the quality and flavor of their beer. Would not go back and wouldn't recommend. breweries should not have skunky tasting beer.

We stopped in here for an early supper after spending a whole lot of time looking at glass in the museum down the road. This is a smallish place right in downtown Corning, if your looking for it, you'll find it. We sat outside on this sunny day and enjoyed being on vacation. There are maybe a half a dozen tables outside and maybe twice as many inside with additional seating at the bar. Food is typical pub grub nothing overly fancy, but nothing objectionable either. Service was decent and the beer is too. I would go back if I were in Corning, but I wouldn't make a special trip for it.

I stopped in here to try the beer. The food looked good, but I had already eaten. The atmosphere is nice, a quality full bar, comfortable stools, and good service. A nice display of brewing equipment to keep in mind they brew their own beer. There is also seating outside - a beautiful urban setting on market street.
There was a nice selction of beer here, not what you would get from a beer bar, but this is a brewpub. The Wrought Iron Red was a nicely balanced brew but not overly flavorful, The D'Artagnan was the most flavorful brew, but lacked some balance. My wife had the Blacberry lager ( I did not care for it, but she enjoyed it) and the Mad Bug lager, which was a nice lager not exceptional but good. There was also a seasonal Peach beer that we did not try and a Potbelly Pale Ale.
Four pints for fifteen dollars was very reasonable. A good selection of their own brews was very enjoyable to try. Nothing here knocked my socks off, but it was fun to try.

Ksak and I visited en route to Belgium Comes to Cooperstown. A rainy day that made Market Street a popular destination.
Atmosphere: The bar and restaurant, at least the first floor, are cozy with a nice patio that was enclosed due to the rain. The dining area was cozy, small even. The bathroom had a really nice faucet too.
Quality: Clean establishment, just okay beer, good service. I thought that the food was better than good.
Service: Prompt and fast, both on entering the restaurant and when ordering. No complaints here.
Selection: 6 beers were on tap, the standard line-up and a witbier. Most were okay and middle-of-the-road. I found the witbier to be second best and the D'Artagnan dark ale to be the winner.
Food: Ksak had a soup that she really liked. My jerk chicken sandwich was very spicy, wicked hot even.

This establishment is "Main Street" and "Downtown" in very picturesque Corning. Sitting at the bar, there is real attention to decorating wtih soul, outfitting the bar with reclaimed and authentic materials; artwork and craftsmanship are on display. The atmosphere is well lit, welcoming, and congenial.
I only had time for quick lunch and a pale ale, which wasn't that great. Not enough hops fragrance at all, it has a British style flavor that is authentic, but some metalic off-flavors that detract. Food had integrity. I glanced at the dining room, which also looks pleasant.
Some of the other beers available must be hitting somebody's desires, and for local craft beer, this is the only game in town. I'm glad I stopped, will go again if I get the chance.

6 house beers on tap...wrought iron red, blackberry lager, mad bug lager, potbelly pale ale, D'Artagnan dark ale, Hefe-weizen....with the D'Artagnan being the best...albiet not true to style.
Keith, the bartender was efficient and attentive. Was sorry I had to wait to long between beers since they had just purged the lines....no worries I assured.
Decent atmosphere. Small, 9 seat wooden bar with lovely old fashioned carved wooden bar back. Small brewing system right in the bar area and they were brewing making it a bit hot....dining area much larger....nice outdoor covered dining area.
All in all a good place worthy of a stop....wish they had a few more beers on tap.

I hadn't realized that I could review brewpubs on BeerAdvocate, and I'm just happy to be able to recommend this little place. Stopped there after a trip to the glass works for a couple of beers and some food. The atmosphere was great, sitting on the upstairs patio in the sun, enjoying the views of Market St. The service was excellent, and the food was pub food made right. Both the burger w/brie and the tomato-artichoke sandwich were delicious. The real stand-outs were the homemade chips, and some excellent sweet potato fries. The beers were crisp and refreshing. The only lament was that we had a long drive ahead of us, so had to stop at just two!
Not sure when/if I'll be back in Corning, but if I make it that way again, this will be my first stop.
