Friendly atomosphere, but a bit cramped for space. Its popularity keeps it crowded, but the staff keeps the line moving fast. I had a few sliders for a buck a piece. You can't beat that. They were sausage sliders, homemade from scratch. Awesome stuff. They were hosting a Firestone Walker kickoff event and had plenty of their beers, plus about 20 others on a list. We sat outside and it was nice. The service was quick, especially considering such a big crowd. Teh selection was great, and the food was awesome and absolutely reasonable. The quality was top notch and goes along with the selection of beer which was only top quality breweries.

If you're visiting FC this is a must-visit spot. A solid beer list and an awesome menu--don't be disappointed that the sides are kinda lame, the burgers, sandwiches, and entrees all stand on their own. Get the Colorado Ruben (half is enough, don't worry) and something dark to drink and you'll be happy.

Okay. I will start by saying that I love this place. When I first walked in they had Le Terrior on tap. So I came back to get a confirmation on my first impression. They consistently have new and ahead of the curve craft beers. I was there on thier patio (a couple of tables outside the front door) and trying one of the best offerings from the Ft. Collins Brewery, Spring Bock, when one of the guys brought me a sample of Avery's 14 that they just tapped. Had one, loved it, like the offer of a sample. The sandwiches are amazing and the best butcher shop around. A must go in Ft. Collins if you enjoy great beer.

This is the place to go, in my opinion if you stop in FtC. Went here on a tip from my father and was not disappointed in any way. Great cuts of fresh meat, plus the best taps and bottle selection in the city. Chimay Tripel, St. Bernardus Abt 12 on tap for pity's sake! Plus the nice local NBB and ODells taps. Great quasi-european/old time deli/pub style seating plus a great little patio out front. Make this your first lunch/dinner.

Owners know there stuff about brews too. Had a convo with Russ for an hour or so about interesting Belgian brews. Good people!

This place was incredible. They had their own cellar with a very impressive list. 2002 la folie 1986 harvest...the list goes on. The food was as fresh as you can get. I think I saw the pig that I ate get hauled off in the back. They had a great selection of both beers and food. They serve the brews in style specific glassware and they were knowledgeable on both meat and brews which is a rare thing. Pricing was reasonable for what you got. They have everything from cold cuts to awesome hot sandwhichs. It seemed like this was the place to be for lunch. Can't wait to go back.

SO glad that I was able to make it here on my last day in Fort Collins and I was not disappointed.

Nice brick building in old town Fort Collins. Deli meats and cuts of steak in a glass case, tap handles decorating, clear menus with great specials. Ideal atmosphere, in my opinion, really comforting and rustic. Really cool tables and chairs as well.

Several employees behind the food area waiting to take my order listening attentively to my complicated order, which they got correct, this was 12:15 on Monday and surprisingly slow though. At the checkout/beer counter the girl was happy to answer all my questions and make suggestions even though there were people behind me, even applied the drinks included in my order to our beers.

If I recall correctly there were about twelve beers on tap, all top notch, and a decent number of bottles. I had an Equinox Dunkleweiss and a Mad River Double IPA.

Wow, the food. My sister had the choice city burger that I just could not stop eating, perfect all around: cooked, topped and prepared impeccably on a very tasty bun. I had the cheesesteak: very good, and the provolone was probably the best I've ever had. Being from the South, the balsamic vinaigrette based potato salad was very off-putting but it grew on me so I won't take away a point just for that.

$10 each with a side and drink included I'd say is pretty good and considering the quality I would gladly pay this any day if I lived there.

Such a great place. I always take my out of town friends here for a sandwich and drinks. A great Friday afternoon spot. Unassuming and comfortable. You're greeted with a deli counter and a tap wall. Hardwood floors and wobbling tables. Look closer and you discover delicious cold cuts, fine cheeses, burgers, and first rate beer. Not much else you could ask for. They always seem to have the freshest Firestone Walker selections this side of the Sierra's. And there's always a surprise rare or two on tap. Make sure to order your sandwich grilled.

Choice city is doing it right. The brunch at this place will change your life. The food is some of the best in town and I love the small atmosphere inside. This can lead to a wait from time to time but it normally proves to be worth it. They always have a great selection of beers and just recently they had Plinly the Younger on tap! If you're in Fort Collins and want to find some rare hard to find beers this is the place for you.

Choice City is a great place. Very well run and an impressive operation overall. The beer selection is really nice. Thoughtfully chosen bottled offerings, including some Belgians and even a couple vintage offerings. Also, I think they have 12 draught lines, all craft. Those are thoughtfully chosen as well, except the Chimay. Besides the beer, this is a full service deli that makes sandwiches for customers and sells meat to go. And it's all high quality stuff. This is my favorite place to drink ale in Fort Collins and it's a great place to stop for lunch. They do a really nice job here.

Choice city is a great butcher that just happens to have a very good beer selection as well. Located just off College in Old Town, it's a great place to get a sandwich and a beer.

Being that it's a butcher, you can go in a get a cut of meat to go, have them grill it up there, or just get a sandwich. The only downside is the price. Sandwiches are close to $10 or $8 if you just get a half. They're good but only for an occasional treat.

On to the beers, you'll find a great, ever-changing list of beers on tap and bottles available. I had a wonderful St. Bernardus Abt 12 and a lesser but still enjoyable Kwak when I was there. Everything is served in the appropriate branded glassware. In addition to specialty Belgian beers, there are always a number of taps from local brewers New Belgium and Odell.

Overall a great place and worth a visit if you're in town.

what an awesome place, in my opinion. Okay, okay before I get all excited and spazzy, let's start from the beginning. What I noticed about Choice City first was the quality of their meats, Prime and some Choice. The pork, veal and lamb was all excellent beyond reproach. They were being tutored on the fine art of cutting by a retired butcher. The sausage was top notch. The deli was muy, muy good. Then I noticed they started adding some choice, value wines. Then the beer started showing up. And taps. And it was all local. And soon they were getting seasonal pony kegs from Odell and New Belgium. And they kept adding to their bottle selection, and a few more taps. They were busy. They started having wine and beer tastings. The Monday night football-brat and beer party I went to was a hoot and holler event.
A few nights ago I noticed they had knocked down a wall and doubled their size. They were offering dinners. They were advertising a four course beer dinner with Doug Odell. My wife and I stopped to pay our respects. I drooled over the NBB kriek, Mantra and Saison on tap. There was Odell's Nip and a few standard Odell beers, and a couple of colors of Chimay on tap. The bottle selection included all of Avery's big beers, and new offerings. An empty Samael bottle was prominently displayed (empty as a sign of encouragement). There were bottles from Lefthand, and other locals.
The menu is easy: Pick a cut of meat from the case at market price, and choose one side from a menu of sides (grilled asparagus, mashers, carrots, brussel sprouts was the choice the other night.) Meals come with salad and bread. The meat was perfectly grilled/seared and seasoned -- that's P-E-R-F-E-C-T! And I have much R-E-S-P-E-C-T for what the guys are doing at Choice City. Please stop here and enjoy prime meat, and choice beer. Wow, how easy is that?

I've been to Choice City a couple of times, and I have been very happy each time. If recommended, I would suggest to go for dinner as their food is fantastic. But I have gone for lunch before and been pleased with their deli sandwiches as well.

Located near trendy Old Town Ft. Collins, they are far enough away that parking is easy but still close enough to be part of the downtown atmosphere. Inside is a rather small room with a deli counter and a great listing of good quality of meats. There are some tables throughout and seating for outside as well. Rather low key but very intimate.

The food is fantastic and worthy of a 5+. If you go for lunch there is a list of sandwiches available. I've tried the club and the philly and have been impressed with the quality. If you go for dinner, you have a few choices to pick out. You can order food directly from the deli and have the cook fix it anyway you want. Another option is to choice from their chiefs specials which change frequently but have a good variety of foods. One choice that I was surprised at how good was their Ostiridge plate. Also I would recommend their steaks as well. I'm getting hungry just think about it.

Their beer selection is great. They have a great selection of hard to find and even aged beers. For instance they had Chimay White as well as Duchesses on tap last time I went. They also had a 2002 La Folie. The prices are a little high but well within approachable levels. They did have a good variety of Colorado beers, NB, Odells, Avery, Great Divide and other selections such as Victory, Stone, DFH among others. And they had a lot of seasonal or rare find beers as well. The selection is fantastic. They also have a great wine selection as well.

Overall I have gone to Choice City a few times and will continue to go into the future. This is a must go when traveling to Ft. Collins.

Choice city has a great location and available outdoor seating. Several beers were available on tap and in bottle and I think there were even a few vintages. I was very impressed with the beer selection, including Odell's IPA and the new release of Jessica's Porter (I was told they were one of only a few places that got the release early).

Sandwiches were excellent and very fresh; it is a deli, afterall. I had a great time eating lunch here when we arrived in Ft. Collins. I would definitely recommend this is a perfect lunch stop and I think they serve breakfast/dinner some days too.
