Reasonably priced grocery store here..

The atmosphere is not that of a bar, but just a store, lots of fine girls walking around with exuding vitality.

Service is good if you have questions, although you shouldn't expect anyone to know more than you about the beer selections/offerings.

Selection is bar none for a grocery store. Lots of bombers, sixers, and 12 packs of beers from across the board. A good deal of the beers are imports.

Food is epic, i eat a lot from earthfare. I would suggest a big salad bar before drinking.

Value is decent the earthfare near my home has the cheapest Newcastle Bombers anywhere in my area.

Cheers!

Well earthfare is a good place to go to get some decent ingredients for some nice food which is obviously their priority however I found that they had a very good beer selection for the area.

THey had a lot of anchor steam, sierra nevada, unibroue, rodenbach, watou, great divide, flying dog and others. Definitely more that I was expecting, and very centrally located. check it out if you are in the area, but expect to be your own beer guide

Prices are on par with the rest of the area, no outstanding deals here or anything and they close somewhat early as well but still if you are looking for something in the northern James Island/South West Ashley area stop by it might be worth your time.

Earth Fare has a decent selection of beers for such a compact place. They had brews ranging from Belgian lambics to English ESB's. The beer section in general isn't particularly huge, so there's only so much you can get there. The service was good, in a general sort of way. I didn't ask any beer-related questions of the staff, so I don't know if they know anything. Like pretty much every organic market, their prices are fairly steep. Overall, it's a decent place to get beer if you're in the neighborhood (this store is a 6 or 7 minute drive from my place and it's the closest of all craft beer stores).

Pretty straight forward affair here I would have to say. After stopping in Total Wine I wanted to see if maybe earth fare would have something a little different, but really I cannot say that they did. The selection here really was not that good at all. Now it wasn’t for lacking of trying but rather lack of space. They just did not seem to have the space allotted to be able to offer a wide selection. A cooler shelf and a couple racks of warm six packs was all they could muster. What was there was pretty decent, some great divide, rogue, lots of imports, but few Belgians. Overall I would not really call this a destination for brew, but a great food store would be a definite. I could easily shop weekly here for groceries with ease. Really a fine place for food, and if you need something in a pinch it is not bad as well.

The beer is housed in a long refrigerated cooler in the back corner of the store. They have a better than average selection, and decent prices on most things. Things that I took note on were St. Peter's english ale 4packs(8.99), SNPA sixers(5.99 on sale) and bombers(2.99), several varieties of St. George brewing from VA(I haven't seen these around until Earth Fare at 7.50), Rogue (standard prices 4.59 for 22oz, they also had sixers the price slips my mind) . Things that I thought were kind of high were normal things like Red Hook (7.50....about a $1 more than what I think of as average). Overall I was pretty impressed by selection. The majority of their singles are cold, as well as sixers, but they do a have a nice little display with room temp stuff. The store is nice as well as their beer selection...but service is something to be desired...I had some time so I looked around a while and there was no customer service....I did not ask, but in natural food stores employees are usually pretty quick to offer help. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

Cool "organic" grocery store with a nice beer selection. They have lots of microbrews, plus lots of imports that you can't get most places. When it first opened up, it had the best beer selection in Charleston hands down. Then some new guy took it over and it went to crap. Now, after a few years, it's starting to get much better. It's a little pricey, but you have to expect that for an "organic" grocery store.

This is one of the better places to buy beer in the Charleston area. Although some of the beer is pricey, the prices are rather typical for the area. They've got a pretty good selection of single bottles and six packs, and if you're looking for the typical macro swill, you probably won't find it there. The store does have some really good, healthy food also. Try one of the sandwiches from the cafe.

Beer in a health food store, right where it belongs. Decent selection, shelves are nearly void of American macro-brews. The store carries all sorts of excellent food as well. I hit it nearly every time I go to Folly Beach.
