According to the brewer, this version is the same as the normal Blanche de Ré, except the grain is certified organic.
A-Poured into weizen glass from the brewery. BB March 2011. Gorgeous creamy off-white head that is extremely long-lasting. Body is a hazy orange-gold.
S-Light and subtle with slight citrus tartness, lemon, wheat, malt, light spice and coriander.
T-Wheat and malt dominate, slightly sweet upfront and fruit notes of orange and lemon in the finish before a slight bit of hops and spice cleanse the palate.
M-Light-bodied with creamy effervescent mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Well-balanced and subtle.
D-Great summer sipper with clean grain and refreshing hints of citrus and spice.
