I went here after going on a tour at their Milton facility, so it was a bit of a Dogfish head day. Knowing already how much I love their beer, I figured it would be enjoyable to have a good meal from their brewpub. Honestly, I could just go on and on about how fantastic the food alone was. My girlfriend ordered something particularly amazing, which was their meatloaf sandwich that utilized their chicory stout for the gravy. It just so happened I ordered the same beer to go with my burger, and the combination with both meals was outstanding. I can say though, despite how much I love that brew, there wasn't much going on with beer menu. Some rarities, but nothing particularly chase that you would feel the NEED to come here. Still fantastic food, solid selection of year round favorites and minor rarities, and friendly unintrusive service. I honestly know I will go back for the food alone. (898 characters)

Visited for lunch after a sunny day stroll on the boardwalk. Our party of 8 was quickly seated (it was so crowded, I think we just lucked out) and service was great for a mobbed pub. I had a randalled Namaste; forgot the additions, but it was pleasant, the normal Namaste wit with a light fruit flavor, slightly spicy. It went well with my crab cakes which were great. The food was slightly upscale pub fare, but nicely prepared and presented. Everyone was happy with their food with the only complaint was that the falafel was a bit dry and uninteresting. The burgers were big and well received. Namaste was the big hit for most people, although a few had the PAM pale lager which got good reviews. Overall a great experience, food, beer and atmosphere, especially for a busy, crowded summer day. I'm on the opposite coast, but I'd come back here in a heartbeat. My only disappointment was that most of the beer on the menu was the same as bottled and available at home. I somehow missed the PAM on the menu, which would have been a new one for me. On the other hand, I totally enjoyed my randalled Namaste so all was well. We filled two growlers to take home. (1,161 characters)

Vibe is pretty standard for a brew pub, lots of cool DFH swag on the walls, wait staff is friendly, bartenders seemed pretty knowledgeable. Beer is pretty standard for DFH, most of the beers are year around offering, but they did have a few beers that aren't widely available/draft only. Food was good, ordered a pizza, was a little small, but well made. Prices on beer are great, would like to revisit during the fall or winter when there are less people. (459 characters)

Couldn't spend a vacation in Delaware without stopping here, and I'm very glad we did. The service was excellent. Pretty busy for a Wednesday night, but we only waited 15 minutes for a table, and our food was out within 15 minutes of ordering. Our server was attentive and accomodating. I had fish tacos and the wife had crab cakes--both above average. A minor annoyance that my first choice on the "rarities stash" beer list board was actually gone, but it wasn't a problem to find a suitable second choice. Will definitely make my way back here sooner or later. (563 characters)

Great food, great vibe, quality DFH brews, and reasonable prices. The selection is about all one could expect given DFH's popularity and variety of beers. The cask 75 minute IPA served at 55F was fantastic with a burger. A must visit. (237 characters)

Really? There is nothing special about getting the same beers here you can get everywhere else. Isn't the point to brew beers on site that you can't get anywhere else? On the visit, there was only one beer and it was a black ipa, hardly unique. If the goal is to serve food with dogfish beer, well I guess they did it. It is billed as a place to get unique dogfish brews, when there are none. For unique beer, visit the main brewery. Very disappointing here. (458 characters)

A great place for drinking dogfish head. Service is decent, food is o.k(nothing special) and the vibe is down to earth. You can get a lot of interesting DFH brews that are only available at the pub. Prices are amazing. (218 characters)

They need to bottle Blood Moon ASAP. For real. It's only my second beer with smoked flavor in it, but I guess I'm a huge fan of that style, because the two smoked beers I've had were exceptional (though this one's technically not a Rauchbier). The food was very good and they have more beer options and more vintage options here than at the brewery. It's also located in a neat town right near the beach. I'm very upset I forgot to try the 75 Minute Cask, I hear that it's a totally different and preferable beast compared with the bottle version, but I guess that's what happens after 120 Minute IPA and 2 flights, one of which was all 10%+ abv. beers. Oh well. I hope to come back some day and find my car in less than 45 minutes. How I wish the brewery and brewpub were closer... (782 characters)

Cheap food that is actually awesome pub fare made from spent grains! Pair that with experimental flights and you have a winning combo. I even got to meet Sam and have a drink on him! (184 characters)

One of my favorite places on the planet. Great staff - from hostesses to managers and of course the bar staff. The exclusives are always interesting and unique, but the year-round selections ensure a good choice is always available. Food is good and has been getting better and better. Don't miss this place! (312 characters)

Been going here since early 1996, and it never fails to impress. Excellent vibe with a great look, feel and good good people. Music is always top notch. Very good ongoing selection of great DFH beers made special by the cask and one off beers that are always fun to try. Food is interesting and consistently excellent.
Business has grown, and the old pub feel is now a much busier restaurant like feel...at least on weekend nights and the summer crush. But on off hours and/or off season...the off centered clearly returns and its really a great personal beer experience you can share with the staff and others there to drink world class beer in a local pub setting. One of my favorites, and definitely one of the very best of the bigger craft beer company brew pubs. (769 characters)

It's a great local craft beer like pub, but also could be a great meet up with friends. You will need to get there early to get a seat. My husband and I stood around for a half an hour on a early November evening, hoping to get dinner, but still wasn't dissatisfied by the tap list instead. We decided to make the most of it, and grab a couple beers, walk out on the empty early winter deck and enjoy a Java cigar over our brews. The Bitch's Brew on tap is a must. We had previously had it in bottle several times, but it made it all the better to have it fresh. Also the only place to get Dogfish Head Vodka. Don't pass up on this. Slightly pricey for a 750ml, but well worth the quality. We made our 750ml Peanut Butter Vodka last for a whole year, as a treat!
A must! (770 characters)

DFH's flagship bar is a must stop for anyone in the Rehoboth area. I went there over the summer and had the Kvasir and Aprinaut on tap. They have a great selection of beers that are limited distro and even some that have been aged. They have a well-stocked stand connected to the bar where you can pick up some beer/t-shirts/etc to take home. The DFH brewery is only about a 30 minute drive from the bar so making a day out of the two of them is totally possible. (466 characters)

Always love heading down to DFH, save for the summer months. Gets supper crowded.

The place has looked almost the same for the last 6+ years that I've been going there, and I really like that about the place. Beach themed craft beer bar that has blown up everywhere but here.

Beer quality is top notch. Can't beat DFH on that front. They have a ton available now with the expanded tap list, and always have a few hidden gems somewhere laying around.

Service is always good to great. When it's busy, it's a little tough, but they do their best. It's always awesome off season when there are mostly locals hanging around.

Beer selection is awesome for a brew pub. I would love to see them have guest taps or more vintage stuff, but that's not going to happen here. DFH serves DFH beer, fresh and well made. Nothing wrong with that.

Food is always good, no complaints.

We head down to DFH from up north as often as we can. Wish they would open a spot in Wilmington or Newark, but I can't see that happening any time soon. (1,024 characters)

Love all the experimental beers that you will never get anywhere else. Most staff are friendly but surprisingly not all beer savvy! Still tastes are allowed to decide from a superb mix on tap. The one and only sad thing at this Mecca for beer lovers is the food, constantly disappointing and I go there nearly every other week. I know the beer is the draw but for the flagship of the Sam Calagione empire, shocking. (415 characters)

Ok so this is my favorite brewery hands down. First off, the atmosphere is really really great and friendly. Sam is known to eat there and talk to his fans whenever he gets a chance. It is a small place but its got enough room to have a big table with your friends. They really lack a smoking section, you have to stand out front to smoke.

All the beers are at their perfect respective temperatures. They offer bombers of cellared beer and they even offer aged beer on tap. They have recently starting distilling and I haven't had a chance to try it though. 5/5!! (564 characters)

We came to Rehoboth Beach just to visit this brew pub. The atmosphere is a beer beach casual which is acceptable and what I imagined it would be. Although it was a little worn down and sticky feeling. Tables, booths and floors could use a good steam cleaning. Quality for food and beer was outstanding but atmosphere really brought it down. Selection was excellent and then some. They had many beers on draft that are available in bottle less than once a year, ie; 120 min IPA. Service was friendly and fast. I had the short rib sloppy joe and it was excellent, the fries were ok. The guys had pizzas and said they were very good. One was the Lone country. Prices were a little high. One thing I hated was the pickle they gave me with my dinner. Yuck! (751 characters)

A visit is in order each summer on vacation - thanks to the rents retiring to coastal delaware. Food is excellent, have gotten to try different beers on tap that haven't yet made it to bottle plus whats on Randall! Cool to see the history of one of the most successful craft breweries! Service was the biggest issue. From the host to the server to the manager on duty. The first visit was adults only. The server was new but had little support. The bill was wrong and when we tried to have it corrected it was very difficult. The next visit we had a child. Middle of the day the host was abrupt and rude stating you must leave the stroller outside. Again very short. One of us left to take the stroller to the car. The entire party had to wait outside until I returned. The host would not seat the party until I returned which in turn we again had to wait. Terrible (579 characters)

Finally made the pilgrimage. It was worth every minute.

Got here on a Thursday night around 8 or 9. Suffice it to say, it was busy. We had to wait for about a half an hour outside before we could get in to a table for 2, but that was fine, we just moseyed around outside, checking out their little shop and some of the adjacent shops. When we finally got in there a band was playing pretty loudly, but everyone was having a riot of a time. It was a Thursday night, so I just went with it. We ordered a sampler flight while we waited for our food - it included a chocolate lobster beer and a beer made with beef stew. Not surprising for DFH, but surprisingly good. Food came, it was great, and we ordered another sampler flight (had to try as many as we could, obviously). Prices were reasonable. The service, however, was excellent. Our server was very attentive, even amid the deafening strums of guitar just behind us and our inabilities to decide on beer. She was great. This was a very cool place in the very cool town of Rehoboth Beach. Really, who knew Delaware had beach resort towns of this nature? Not me, anyway. (1,124 characters)

Always a fun trip when I'm down visiting my grandparents at the beach. Went two times this past weekend.

The brewpub is beautiful. Long bar, with tons of iconic DFH signage everywhere. A cask or two, 25 taps or so, and a Randall thing-y hooked up to the 90 minute tap. They had a fistful of Cascade hops in the Randall for infusions last weekend.

The tap list is deep, and varied, as you'd expect from Dogfish Head. Only a couple of clunkers my last visit- 2012 Urkontinent was pretty bad, IMO. But there are some huge hits. There are great beers that you can only get at this restaurant- Afternoon Snack (a beer brewed with peanuts and apples) and Brewdolph (a Christmasy ale brewed with peppers) were outstanding. The regular line-up is also available- super fresh 60 Minute IPA is to die for. They had World Wide Stout on tap too, much better than the bottled version I had a year ago. I got the last few oz's of the 120 keg for free too, very nice! Got a few flights and tried basically everything they had.

The food is exceptional, and "off centered" as well. Pizzas seem to be their specialty, with lots of cool toppings, and even one with crab on it! Burgers were on point as well. Great simple caesar salad was tasty to me.

The service is very good, considering how busy this place is, even in January! I can't imagine the crowds during the summer. Sat in the downstairs bar area Friday night and ate upstairs Saturday night. Both nights some great live music was pumping out of the downstairs bar area. One of the most fun brewpubs I've ever been to. Make the trip! (1,578 characters)

Easily one of the best beer/dining experiences I've ever had. Being at Dogfish Head was pretty much a dream come true, and it did not disappoint.

Beers were Dogfish beers... amazing and different. Had the Choc Lobster which was a chocolate stout brewed with Maine lobster, it was incredible. Also, a full 12 oz draft of 120 for about 6 bucks? I thought they made a mistake.

Food was outstanding. Different foods(just like their brews) but all amazing. The mushroom mac and cheese was the best dish I had there, but everything else was also great.

Can't wait to go back again next summer. (591 characters)
