Stopped here on a mini-side trip from Cape May. Took the ferry. Easy to find. Right on the main strip in town. A cool downtown, but this was the centerpiece of our excursion.
Not as big as I would have thought. Average sized bar, small dining area. Packed with people, even at 2pm. 20 minute wait, lucked out and got a seat at the bar.
$5 for a sampler is a good price. It included the Shelter Pale Ale, 60 Minute IPA, Indian Brown, Raisen D'Etre and Chickory Stout. Aside from the Stout, I had tried all of them before. All are very good.
Others on tap, but not in the sampler were the Punkin, 90 and 120 Minute IPAs, the legendary World Wide Stout and a few others incl the seasonal Arms Akimbo (a licorice flavored porter).
I was psyched to see they also offered a $6 sampling of their spirits. Got four tastes (approx 2/3 of a shot worth) of the Blue Hen Vodka (incredibly smooth, I actually bought a bottle for $20), spiced rum, jin and you get to pick 1 infused vodka (I chose the pommegranite, but they also had chocolate, green apples, grape, etc). I am not a huge spirits drinker, but I must say, they were all smooth and rather drinkable straight.
Small menu, but not expensive. A lot of seafood items, including salmon and crab cake sandwiches. I had the turkey sandwich, my wife a really tasty pizza. Both were good.
I believe you can do a tour of the distillery (the brewery tour is in Milton, I think). There is also a gift shop, outside, but attached to the pub, that sells shirts, glasses, hats and other items.
A cool place. If you want to shell out some $$$ ($20+) they also have aged bottles available including their barleywine and Raisen D'Extra.

Always love heading down to DFH, save for the summer months. Gets supper crowded.
The place has looked almost the same for the last 6+ years that I've been going there, and I really like that about the place. Beach themed craft beer bar that has blown up everywhere but here.
Beer quality is top notch. Can't beat DFH on that front. They have a ton available now with the expanded tap list, and always have a few hidden gems somewhere laying around.
Service is always good to great. When it's busy, it's a little tough, but they do their best. It's always awesome off season when there are mostly locals hanging around.
Beer selection is awesome for a brew pub. I would love to see them have guest taps or more vintage stuff, but that's not going to happen here. DFH serves DFH beer, fresh and well made. Nothing wrong with that.
Food is always good, no complaints.
We head down to DFH from up north as often as we can. Wish they would open a spot in Wilmington or Newark, but I can't see that happening any time soon.

Love all the experimental beers that you will never get anywhere else. Most staff are friendly but surprisingly not all beer savvy! Still tastes are allowed to decide from a superb mix on tap. The one and only sad thing at this Mecca for beer lovers is the food, constantly disappointing and I go there nearly every other week. I know the beer is the draw but for the flagship of the Sam Calagione empire, shocking.
